The Church of Forgotten Heroes Options

Apologies for intruding but I have some information to impart to the church. I have recently discovered some worrying information that directly impacts your faith. I will repeat every word they said to ensure no confusion occurs:

"The Church of Forgotten Heroes has risen from the Shadows, one that teaches their initiates to steal the memories in heroes of the past from priests of the Church of Dead Heroes. The Dead Heroes priests lose their spiritual power, beliefs and thus motivation, causing most to be overwhelmed by a feeling of hopelessness and many to take their own lives.

There are heroes who are now not remembered by anyone outside of the cult, giving the cult the power to summon and control them. Killing these will release the memories of the heroes, some of whom may choose to take a host."

It is dangerous to scry about this, not only can it be interfered with to the point that you may not even receive a response, there is also a strong backlash. I will leave now but please feel free to contact me at the Knowledge temple in Halgar.

Sorry to intrude again, but I have two more pieces of information.

First, I found that a private messenger called Pietre Bleck expects to receive a message to deliver to The Church of Forgotten Heroes in a cave system NE of "the City the mercenaries forgot" on Starsday morning. Since then, Pietre Black has shielded himself from scrying with an artefact. The term "the City the mercenaries forgot" is likely a codename referencing one of the empire cities not often visited by mercenaries, such as Eartholme.

Second, I have been informed by my brother knight, Blaize, that priests of The Church of Forgotten Heroes were found inside the city of Bildteve. They were wearing your church's symbol on their tabbards and were killed by the mercenary group. They claimed to be looking for artefacts.

Not just there! We found them this Sunsday in Thimon! We were there addressing a strange migration of undead citizens of Deci and there they were!

I was only aware of them from these prior missives, but they're further afield than we thought.

I have discovered a meeting hall to the North West of Eartholme often used by messengers and the like to stay overnight. None of the messengers who normally travel to the city that way have been seen recently. We may be able to find out more about The Church of Forgotton Heroes by going there on Starsday morning. Is anyone from the church free?

I know the place. I am happy to teleport us there (assuming no angels) first thing from where ever we gather.
It isn't that I don't like angels, just my teleporting doesn't work on them. I really like angels as it happens.
