Mission statement of a Holy Quest Options

First of all thank you all for showing interest in helping me in a Holy Quest.

The purpose of this campaign is to find a safe way to replace Anarchus from where he is "holding up" this existence from unraveling. I do not know that the exact circumstances of this "bindng-sacrifice, call it what you will" of his soul or essence or wherever else it is that is being used to hold up our plane or what ever else it could be. I need to fully understand and comprehend this whole situation. So any and all information on this matter would be appreciated.

All I know is that I wish to investigate to see if there is any chance to recover him from his plight and bring him back.

That is it.

If there is a even a small chance that this Holy Quest is going to be a threat to the Land I will abandon it instantly, as I will not hold any life not even if my brother above that of the Land itself. If however I am assured that at he can be freed without any threat to the land then I will commit myself to it and ask all of you that have an interest in joining me on this mission to commit to it.

We are looking to start our mission in the month of March start or end, the exact date will depend on the maximum suitability of those that can join us. So this date is rather important as it will lock you into this timeline as I understand and you will not be able to release yourself from its consequences after you have committed to it.

I must ask all that wish to join in this effort to be in this first mission, it is imperative that we have a full mercenary band of 16. If you cannot do this mission then it will preclude you from the rest of the Campaign.

I am looking for 15 other people to join me for this very first mission. This will grant us the largest pool of mercenary to call upon for the rest of the quest.

So if we can ascertain what date in the month of March would best suit the maximum number of people to be able to take part in this set of missions I would be grateful.

So I am free any day of March to start this mission.

Could you let me know your availability for this mission is there is a day in the month of March you cannot commit to so we can cross that off.

Lord Saladin,

I was present when Anarchus sacrificed himself to rebuild the walls between our exostance and the far realm.

I was witness to the horror that lives there. It is not inherently evil, but is alien to us in ways beyond understanding.

Our exostance and the far realm are not compatible and had been kept apart from the dawn of creation it is one thing that all gods agree on.

I suspect but would not seem to presume that the creator and his antithesis would also agree.

I lived there with my master for centuries (time flows in reverse there and is very strange).

I implore you NOT to open the breach again, whilst I would like nothing more than to see Anarchus restored to us, the risk is too much.

My suggestion is to consult with Michael.

I will of course obey the word of Michael in this matter

Great Saladin,

My friend, I miss Anarchus much, but he gave his life to save mine and others, he saw what we faced, he saw the
horror. The actions the brave few that went took I shall never forget, and whilst Anarchus's deed was most noble,
many were lost to us during those dark days, and many did not return.

It took huge sacrifices from all involved to defeat the threat that we faced, and there is one thing i am assured of, if
i were to take this risk to bring my friend back, and somehow managed it, i would expect him to punch me in the face
for putting Primus and all of its people at risk at the very least.

I beg you my old friend do not take this path, I cannot face these horrors again, and all of our efforts and sacrifices
would be rendered pointless. Do not do this to the memory of all of those that fell.

I can only echo what Queen Gerehax and Midarcanus have said above, though I have said it to you in person too.

Be very very sure of what you seek to achieve before embarking upon this path, because I can tell you once you start there is no turning back, and it is as dark a path as I have ever walked.

The group that assembled to counter this threat was the most potent and dedicated a group I have ever known in any of my lives. And we scraped through by the narrowest of margins, solely due to the sacrifice Anarchus made. Though more than half that group, including myself, sacrificed their lives and turned on the wheel during the mission.

We had to break the throne of glass. We had to destroy realms and make decisions that even to this day haunt me. And we were doing so to save thousands of lives, and prevent untold suffering. Not for just one life, even if that of your brother.

Start this path, and if you falter or fail the results will be catastrophic. I am reassured you say you will not do this if you find the path to be too dangerous for the land and it’s people. Just be sure you know exactly what is at stake and what must be done before you take the first step, because once you do there is no turning back. And make sure all who would go with you know this too.

And if you decide to take that first step, I wish you nothing but success and victory. But it is a path I would not walk, Anarchus’ sacrifice was the most heroic act I have ever witnessed, and I do not believe he would wish this to be risked.

We have all died and come back, I died on the quest, but many others gave much more
than there vitae, its not about us, its about the common people who do not have that luxury
of coming back.

I truly believe you are heading on a very very dark path, I have and my people have always stood for
the defence of the Land and its people, and make no mistake I will defend it from all threats, whereever
i can but you could very well create a threat that i cannot defend against.
I can but beg you not to put this world we love to this level of threat.

Are you prepared to be responsible for thousands upon thousands of deaths, for a quest for One, who willingly did

I have observed these efforts and have found myself compelled to join these endeavours.

The Circle is most concerned with ensuring the stability and safety of Primus, and the barriers between worlds. As any who have studied their histories will know, the south has long suffered from the irresponsible use of power and the damage this has done to the fabric of Primus.

You have my aid in this, but I will be watching carefully to ensure that what occurs respects the integrity and safety of Primus.

I sent as complete a summary of events as I could manage from my perspective to Lord Saladin. And to Tristan when he also asked. I am willing to send such to any other who wishes, but probably best to ask them to share, there is little more I can add.

In terms of who attended, I will invariably forget people. It has been nearly three years and I turned on the wheel after this mission. So my memories are not as clear as I might like. I will say it was possibly the most potent group I have ever been a part of, yet over half our number turned on the wheel as a result of this mission. The list as best I remember, other than the three you’ve already named:

Andvari, a St Michael Druid now I believe
Owen. Part of his essence is now also in the faith of St Michael.

Darig
Castiel
Radah

Jericho for some of the build up. But not the finale. Worth mentioning as he did know a lot of the background.

I have told Saladin that I cannot see a way to do what he wishes without risk of great harm to the land. And would advise any who undertake this task to be very sure of what you are going to do, and the dangers involved, before you take the first step. Do not fall into the mercenary mindset of charging ahead and hoping everything will be ok, this is a truly dangerous task with the potential for terrible repercussions if you fail. There will be no turning back after you take the first step. But I truly hope there is a way and wish you all success if you do still proceed and will aid in any way I can, with information at least.

You ask what we sought to achieve. Saving thousands of lives, and ridding existence of a dire power that was spreading like a virulent disease throughout reality. This cause was worth the sacrifices made and risks taken. Be sure your task is, for you risk undoing all we achieved.
