Leaving the church Options

Dearest Michaelians,

Since last venturing forth with the church some decades ago, I have spent many years forsaking comfort and possessions travelling the lands in contemplation seeking answers to questions that I barely knew or understood when I first set out.

Where I have been able, I have tried to help those in most need learning something about myself and the world as I see it each time.

Finally, I believe I have come to an epiphany and a greater understanding of my own soul.

I could never have reached this point without what I learnt from the Church of St Michael, and for that I would be ever grateful, but now feel that I must follow another path.

Therefore, in order to maintain all truth and honesty which you deserve from me, I feel compelled to ask for permission to step down from the Church and follow the path I now believe to be ordained for me.
