Talthar Reclaimed the Mountains.

The Four Riders of Apocalypse. Chortos’s Chosen power to counter the Mana Dragons Powers are the linchpin of Chortos's dark designs. They Represent the main elements of fire, air, earth, and water, but they are far more than just elemental wielders or powers.

They embodied these elements, and are strengthened by the powers of magic, spirit, neuronic, and earthpower.

Using their elemental abilities, Aelion and Terran the Aeromancer and Geomancer disrupted all mystical transportation through the Earth and Air. Their goal was clear: secure the place of power and ensure the Silver Chest of Mortality was out of reach from those with honourable intentions that could potentially mystically transport with the Chest of Mortality.

Against all odds, the Church of Talthar penetrated the defences set by Chortos’s forces and reached the central place of power a Ritual of Blood and eventually the Demon Gates that was pouring out very fine black dust sand.

The Priests of Talthar invoked a ritual of binding and placing the power of Talthar in place of a Demon Gate closing its dark entryway.

The culmination of their efforts was a binding ritual, anchoring the divine aura of Talthar to this place, transforming it from a den of malevolence to a haven of divine power. The sounds of the Bells of the cathedral town could be heard resonating from this new place of power.

The cave was then illuminated with Talthar's presence, reaching every nook and cranny, signalling the decline of Chortos's influence.

Nestled just 20 yards from this place's heart was the Silver Chest of Mortality. Its presence revealed Chortos's intent.

He had constructed a portal connecting his Black Tower with the reclaimed mountains, not to harness the chest's power but to destroy the magic that was stopping it from being moved by his forces. The silver chest had rejected the hand of Chortos and his minions. It was his intent to destroy this magic of defence that the chest bore.

The Silver Chest posed a threat to Chortos. If someone were to utilise its ritual on him, he'd be rendered mortal for a year and a day, becoming susceptible to death. To prevent this, he devised a strategy. He built 14 Wingates to release black sand, aiming to nullify the chest's protective energies so it could be removed to a place of his choosing to be kept safe from the hands of those who would want to bring him low.

However, the Church of Talthar intervened in time. They experienced the debilitating force of the black sands, which had partially manifested itself with a reversal of the power of advocacy that is normally deployed to reduce the cost of casting magic spirit and other forms of power. By sealing the Demon gate, they prevented the sands from overwhelming the sanctum and neutralizing the Silver Chest defences on its movement.

With Talthar's protective gaze, the reclaimed mountains now buzz with hope and the courage of its followers. Previously, the sanctum was a site of sorrow, witnessing countless sacrifices. But now, those souls, once trapped to strengthen Chortos's grip on the black sands, found freedom, moving beyond the vale of the Black Tower to their natural homes on the planes of their ancestors and where would their spirits would fly to.

The last thing that was seen was the Demon Lord, Darkpower lashing out at the ever, increasing holy aura of the place of power that head now rejected him and the forces of Chortos driving them out. He had exacted some measure of vengeance on those who had denied him, the Silver Chest of Mortality, for his master but he was forced to retreat from the divine power of Talthar in the reclaimed mountains.
