In the city of Deci, the darkness of night in the darkest of alleys, portals pop into existence through which grey-skinned, powerfully built Silver Folk step out and secure a perimeter.

They are swiftly followed by blue-robed mind masters stepping out of the Portals. These "Blue Robes" direct the forces to a number of seemingly random houses, following which the Gythanki pop out of and then back into existence as if they know exactly
where they're going,

Within 25 to 30 seconds they appear back holding up 4 or 5 humans who seemed to be walking as if they were being controlled, enthralled back with them out of towards the astral portals.
