Attached to price tags, on a thank-you note slipped into the box or in some other way attached to each and every special artefact Andrii creates is a short story, some true, some false but all supernaturally powerful and relevant to the item purchased.

The Bulwark Bracelet

A Bracelet worn by Angvar Lighthammer, a simple priest of the Soulforger who spent his time tending to those Dwarven Smiths who spent their days crafting arms and armour for the Kingdom. Angvar was well known for wearing a suit of very well crafted plate mail, something their congregation just couldn't figure out - not only should he not be able to wear armour he should much less be able to make full use of it! But despite those rumours Angvar spoke of how the Goblins that would raid the halls couldn't dent nor scratch his armour, much less hurt him, all thanks to the power of this bracelet! No one really seemed to understand, but such is the nature of items...

The Warriors Friend

One of the most common artefacts I find myself making can really be chocked up by their names. The Warriors Friends, even sometimes a best friend. Be it mace, sword, hammer or flail fighters of all shape and size make their way to my Forge to pick one up. Not least, Trel who I not only saw using his new Best Friend just last Sunsday! Many demons did he strike down as he strode forward into each and every fight with glee. A proper hero!

Bulwark Armour

A creature radiating divine energies materialised apparently from no-where in my shop and assured me this artefact belonged tae him, and it was he that had contacted me to ask for it. As he adorned it he muttered some words of invocation and as he did the armour glowed with all colours bright and shining, the spirits gathered and wathed it, even the unmistakably headache inducing touch of a Psionicist could be felt imbuing itself into the armour... And without much more than a thank you and a payment of Grulls, he vanished again.

Truly an odd sight to behold.

The Killers Handbook

Taken from the cell of Six-Stab-Stanley after his death and destruction this book had been inlaid with a darksteel alloy to protect its corners. Those who examined it described its contents as 'a horrifying insight into the mind of a madman', 'a tale of what it means to be a psychopath' and 'pretty sick actually'. The one curiosity that researchers had is that there were two dates in the future, murders of people unnamed, but the causes of death (both grusome murders) were listed in stunning clarity. Even know they've not figured out how he know, or rather, if he did it...

The Lost Bag of the Great Zohir

The lost bag of the great Zohir was fabled through the Land of the Seven Winds... A bag that contained an answer for every problem a mercenary might face! Whilst out looking for Sandwhale dung one late evening (it makes great perfume...) the hero of our tale finds a bag unweathered by the ravages of the desert, what a marvellous find he thinks, before pressing onwards.

He came to a line bound with power, and sat to ponder the issue at hand. 7 mana? Wait, he was sure it was 6. Red? It was definitely blue just a moment ago. "Bah!" he exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air. Our hero looks around at his affects before rummaging through his new found Bag of the Great Zohir!, only to find that Zohir must've been a great scholar, for his interests were drawn from the bag and the answer to the riddle found! The ward fell in no time...

The hero pressed on through the desert, eager to make his way back to his clan when out of nowhere a band of dark priests, chanting some nonsense about the Church of Forgotten Heroes start chanting the verbals to the Touch of Death prayer! Oh no, whatever would we do to combat such a problem?! Well don't worry, Zohir had an answer for that too and it was the ability to resist the Touch of Death! Oh what a lucky stroke for our dear hero...

The Bracelet of Bulkiness

A bracelet long thought lost to memory, it was fabled to grant great stamina and strength to those that bore it... Recently stumbled upon by the proprietor of a fine forge and granted unto himself as a little 'perk of the job' the Smith found his body strengthened and his stamina increased, certainly a lucky day in the shop for that dear businessman!

The Mercenaries Diary

"By the Empress damnit! This line is so bloody tedious" exclaimed Jakob as he flicked through the pages of his notebook trying to figure out just what was in this warding. "I just don't understand how we're supposed to deal with it! It kills you, then it kills you but a bit more, then it kills you really really hard, then it just kills you forever!" He kept flicking through the pages and as fate would have it "Ah! Of course... It was right here all along! Now don't worry about this Lewis, you'll be just fine" He said confidently whilst throwing his undead friend across the line.

"What was that for?! How did you even know it would be safe?!" queried Lewis the Vampire... "Well I'd written it in my diary last week... Obviously. Now hurry up so we can get to the tavern!"

The Wand of Awareness

The soon-to-be Archmage of Onyx sauntered around the corner, spells of all hues weaved and twisted around his darkened digits.

"Feel the frailty o...", his chanting stopped as something caught his eye, or maybe just the hairs on the back of his neck stood up for a moment, a mere 2 seconds later an army of Sprite Champions were phasing in to beset him, but the mighty Wizard knew just what to do and with a flick of his wand each of the sprites were dispelled.

The mage continued onwards... "Feel the frailty of life..." and the magic weaved around his hands once more.

An Angelic Amulet

Barnabus had been a lonely child with little friends to speak of, and when he did speak of them it was usually of Sanguinius, who he spoke of in very high regard and had reported to be 9 feet tall, made purely of light and wielding a sword that glowed as bright as the Sun itself. Of course Barnabus' peers in school though he was full of [----], we all know of the existence of Angels, but for one to specifically be friends with Barnabus? And never show themselves? He was clearly just lying for clout.

On a day much like this, Barnabus found himself sat under the tree that overlooked his school hall, reading a book and chatting to his so called Imaginary friend. Quinley (widely known as the schools top bully-boy), had found his next victim and saw fit to launch all manner of assault on Barnabus.

"Aint got no big scary angel bloke to save you now 'av ya! he exclaimed, mere moments before delivering a swift kick to Barbs' ribs, causing him to splutter just the smallest drop of blood. Evidently, the relationship between Mortal and Divine is not so simple as from this drop of blood formed a creature, deep, dark and red at first before fully forming as a 9 foot tall being of light, 6 sets of wings protuding from its back and a glowing sword made of heavenly fire.

"Be most afraid, and flee. rang out from the being, causing Quinley to drop his books and run. From the angels flames a bracelet was produced, touched to Barnabus' temples and with that his ribs repaired, causing him no pain.

"You are destined for greatness Barnabus, the Host of Blood watches on for the deeds you will commit" and with that, Sanguinius faded back from the view of all, all but of course, Barnabus.
