I have started the ball rolling on some areas of discussion. Now I will sit back and allow those more skilled and knowledgeable than I to formulate and discuss plans, and investigate further.

I would gladly accept any aid in compiling important information and assigning tasks.

I have passed the information to J, as he was mentioned in scrying. And Jander is also already in the loop as it were. But others are mentioned and worth being contacted. And avenues to pursue (a meeting with the Empress, a meeting with the only Laiu not to ascend, etc) have been suggested and need to be assigned.

My family will decide our own path if nothing is assigned / suggested for us to focus on.

Sirac, I feel strongly that we shouldn’t be doing this alone and should be utilising this situation to make alliances with others. If nothing else, if there is opposition to us reanchoring, we at least have some support.

If it’s okay with you, I would like to lead diplomatic missions to find allies.

I am currently working to help Salvas, another plane that will be affected by all of this, but am happy to help on any plane in what ever way I can.

Having now had access to Sonasello’s notes, I cannot stress the importance of building alliances. The council was formed entirely because they were not happy with what was done and we’re proposing to do the exact same thing again!

We need to learn lessons and we need to get over ourselves and thinking that our opinions are the only ones that matter. This frustration isn’t targeted at anyone in particular, just….. history repeating itself doesn’t seem to make much sense here.

Sirac,

I am wary that we may be able to find some answers in the past. I will speak with Kruskal this evening, and try to come up with a sensible and safe idea.

May I propose using my talents to turn time and find more information in the past?

We should be careful not to portray this Council of Renewal as anything other than the latest threat to our lands.

They are not glorious martyrs, freedom fighters or brave extra-planar revolutionaries.

They are a group of deific beings, who have knowingly for some time been working in the shadows to release a ritual upon Primus which would have cataclysmic consequences, the like of which we have not seen before. J has outlined this elsewhere.

At any point, they could have come forward and asked for our aid as representatives from many other planes have over the years - the most recent being Thargos and we would have responded in kind.

Apathy is largely correct. Though I believe there is at least one on this council, perhaps two other than those two who have already come to us who may be potential allies, if what they are portrayed as in the notes rings true.

That is absolutely fine by me, and hugely appreciated, thank you.

Only small bit of advice I would give is if anyway you can get assistance from Kurth, he would be an absolute asset in this pursuit.

Temporal issues are all yours then, certainly not a sphere I have anything to offer in. Good luck!

I have no interest in any hostilities here. But at the same time have to make the following points, because the approach we take here may be vital.

We should be very careful of sweeping generalisations, especially of people you have not met or talked with. Things are rarely black and white.

You are absolutely correct about the majority of the council. But two of them have risked everything to aid us, without them we would be blind and know virtually nothing of this threat. Indeed Elzabeth trusted us enough to risk dying forever, so that she could be free of their oath.

Considering what you and many others would do to protect your Empire, or Labyrinthia, I would think their actions are at the very least understandable given the belief their worlds were at risk of permanent destruction.

But it does anger me too that no diplomatic measures were ever considered. To the best of my knowledge anyway, it is a question I have not asked yet but will.

Also worth a mention, that some of the council are...swayed by strength. At the moment Sinsanium has their respect. But it may not always be that way.

I would agree that the two beings who appear to have seen sense and do now not wish to be part of a huge ritual assault upon our plane are now an exception.

They would not be included in any further temporal or legal actions taken against the Council of Renewal as they have essentially defected.

However, the rest of the Council of Renewal will be viewed in the same way as any other extra planar threat. I am afraid I do not find their actions in launching this attack on the supernatural fabric and good people of Primus ‘understandable’. I too would be interested to know their justification for that, though I would imagine the answer would be painfully predictable.

Thank you Sirac

For the record, I do not believe we should be relying on any course of action that deliberately results in your utter destruction.

There is much to do and I shall help where I can.

Correction here on the two allies. Currently we have only talked to one. She still counts us as an ally. She is not happy we intend to re-anchor Labyrinthia. She was never a believer in the ritual strike on the Throne and death and destruction it would cause. She has I think only given her word to help stop that and only supports re-anchoring Labyrinthia if we can prove no other plane will suffer because of it.

I appreciate everyone may want to make this promise of ideal situation, the truth is it may not be.

Whilst I thank you for the sentiment, it will not suffice.

What is needed is a clear plan of action with a good chance of victory. At this time, all options I see carry too great a risk of failure. A stalemate between Sinsanium and I could threaten the Throne. And if Sinsanium won, I would still be destroyed, it would empower him and he would go on to attack everyone and everything I have ever cared for.

This path at least ensures his destruction too, so that will not happen. And given that I can greatly mitigate the harm that threatens us through this sacrifice, at this moment I can see no other option. I really hope that will change in the next couple of weeks.

The only things I would correct there is that I have in fact met and spoken with both of them, albeit only briefly with Bi'Lak. He has sworn allegiance to Elzabeth, and to our cause for so long as we have Elzabeths support anyway. He has killed himself to escape the oath, and is in the process of being reborn. His phoenix nature is such that he will be fully grown and restored in a couple of weeks.

And I think it overstates things to say Elzabeth would accept no suffering. She will not accept other worlds being destroyed, and the eventual destruction of all worlds, so that Labyrinthia maintains its position. Fortunately it seems there are good options to prevent that from being the case.

I will correct this, for now. Further conversation is needed with her to clarify what the situation will be after Octuar 29th.

I have a few ideas that I am currently mulling over and doing a little bit of digging. I will come back if any of my musing has viable options.
