Knowledge of the God's teaching scripture, Some guidance on my path. Options

My Lady Millie, my brother and sister priests

I am a follower of the faith of the Church of Dead Heroes, taking my second step on my journey in a month or so but in my discussions with other followers of various faiths, I have been recommended to work towards being able to cast the Knowledge of the God's miracle.

I will be specialising in the communications sphere with some additional focus on healing but my goal is to be able to support my brothers and sisters with expert knowledge and foresight in pursuit of their goals.

I have researched to the best of my capabilities the path to being able to cast this potent miracle but am still a little fuzzy as to what I need to achieve to get there and which other miracles I need to learn.

Can you guide me to simpler insight as to the path I should take, the costs of these scriptures so I can start to gather my funds and any suggestions to other choices. I am planning to train as a spiritual diviner and vessel of the spirits in time but any sage advice would be appreciated.

Knowledge is indeed a powerful addition to bring to any mercenary group - and healing of course.

If you have only just started on your path, then I would suggest perhaps waiting a while before you invoke the Knowledge of the Gods. It is a huge amount of power to channel, and as you start out I don't think it will be necessary.

There's always a Greater Communication scroll or two in the stores, so take a couple of these, and my advice would be to focus on the smaller divination miracles. The Identify Spirit miracle is hugely powerful and can gather much information. Also the Minor, and Major Prayer miracles.
Don't overlook the Questioning Spirits miracle, it is a great way to confirm and deny many theories you might have at once. All of these for under 5 ranks of spiritual power.

Milly is often very busy, but has an incredible capacity to scribe teaching scriptures, and multiple at once. I would recommend asking for Major Prayer or Identify Spirit for your first ones.

Finally, when scrying - aim it at a relevant hero. Heroes come in many forms and there will often be someone who has gone before more suited to the question you are asking. We are here to remember, to venerate, and to learn from those Heroes past.
