I see no reason as to why it would be more difficult than telling a guild you are leaving. A clan member is no longer content with the clan they are in, declare, move, done. There have been a couple of these that have happened and with the consideration of the Snake being dishonored by the previous Lord in such a way I surprised that more people (not just PC's) didn't do just that.

The game is for fun and imaginary constraints should not get in the way of that, the only thing that should stop you is that it would be less fun to do so, but considering that the limitation in and of itself is what is preventing you having fun, it seem logical to make the change.

The costume thing is adjustable, lets be fair. I've gone through multiple costumes as Toshimoko, a mon is not on all of them (and I am not a rich person).

I used to think this.. then I received a few 'polite' I need to leave the clan messages

also before my time when the Crane wasn't very active, I know of at least one player who snuck over to Black Dragon without a word laugh.gif they had blacked out their mon but could still see the crane

As far as I'm aware there aren't any rules to this, but agree it makes sense there should be an announcement similar to guilds, or permission from the daimyo to avoid the risk of being 'dishonoured'.

how are we doing on ref searching? if truly desperate I could possibly do a couple of games (though I could do with a buddy ref for high statting)
