Sunsday the 18th day of Deeber - Upperworld Options

Below I record for those who are interested or who may follow the events of the 18th Day of Deeber IM 1022,

For context know that a small group had infiltrated the Temple of Khobris in an attempt to rescue a the last of Porenne the child prophet Bran, who had been captured by the Silverfolk forces of her Shining Ascendancy. His connection to his divinity was being used to siphon off divine energies, that were then used to empower hibernating Silverfolk forces, drastically increasing their durability.

We failed... and alerted powerful forces to our presence and were forced to flee before Bran could be rescued.

It was my intent to regather a group and reattempt the rescue to deny the Silverfolk forces their prize, but in the intervening time the Silverfolk were no idle and by the time we gathered the situation was as follows.

1.) The Temple of Khorbris had effectively been sealed, communications about the activities inside were no longer possible, and intelligence received showed that the guard around Bran had been significantly.

2.) The Silverfolk struck out at several targets in revenge taking innocents from across Primus, including notably Deci, Halgar and Brehmen.

3.) The Silverfolk had accelerated their plans, and had begun to wake the vast empowered army, indoctrinate, arm and ready them.

4.) The goal of these forces is intended to be to carry out destructive raids across exostance (with a focus on Primus) and obtain sacrifices and Slaves that will enable Khorbris to Ascend to god hood.

Thus was our situation as we gathered.

In a change from what was expected we were not greeted by Willoughby Chase, an Imperil operative who has been managing the "Upperworld" incident for the Imperial machine. Rather it was Sha'Sal, a member of the Enlightened Silverfolk sect known as the Khou, that appeared before the assembled group.

Sha'Sal explained that Bran was now lost to us, but that we could still drastically weaken if not eliminate the empowered Silverfolk forces. The Silverfolk had built a staging station in the southern part of upperworld in a place known as The Wheatlands. In this location they were gathering food and supplies to awaken and equip the Silvrfolk army. If we could disrupt this operation significantly the nature of Silvefolk would see them turn on each other, and many of them would be killed or destroyed. Unfortunately the Silverfolk were using a number of ancient rites to form an Ad'Decktuth (The Path Converges in the common tongue) These portals were used extensively in the great conflict as a method to move large volumes of people, and equipment psychically across great distances. The methods of countering them, while often simple, are unique to each rite, it became clear that the methods of countering this rite could only be found in the Library of Gith.

Accessing the Library would require an Astral Journey, and so with the aid of Sha'Sal the group entered the Astral Realm and forged a path toward the Library of Gith. During this we encountered various forces that sought to prevent our progress. including a number of Silverfolk patrols. once we dispatched the forces arrayed against us I was able to access the Library, and claim a number of documents. I am still studying many of these documents, but to those who wish to further explore and work with Underworld, I will be making copies of these documents available to Willoughby Chase, Sha'Sal and The Hive that they can provide them to others as is relevant or required. We also located a the key rites requited to destroy the Silverfolk Staging portal.

While in the Astral we also learned of the Three Silver Chests said to be pivotal in the future of upperworld. It is said of these chests that One has the Ability to make an Immortal Mortal, that another makes a Mortal Immortal, and the third "Destroys all Sorcery" I will write what I know of these chests once I have had time to assess the contents of the Library of Gith, as I am aware that there is information in the papers I possess that may help me further refine my understanding.

From there we returned to the Material and begun to translate the rituals which were written in the scrips of Upperworld, My sincere thanks to "Twisting Bark" of the Lo-Thi, who proved to me once more that the wisdom of past ages of man so lost on most of this worlds inhabitants is alive and thriving in the Lo-Thi's ancient heritage and way of life. Twisting Bark was able to translate the rites under extremely challenging conditions.

With the rites prepared we set out to the Wheatlands and the centre of the Silverfolk encampment, it became clear that the Silverfolk had conducted a number of raid on what is best described as "the breadbasket" of Upperworld, taking stores of grain and supplies for themselves, they were using large Elementals of Earth and Fire to clear the woodlands and level a road. We came across more Silverfolk as well as Druids and empowered vegetation as we battled our way into the heart of the Silverfolk holding in the Wheatlands, it was a challenging road but I am proud to say that those I travelled with fought bravely and each of them have my thanks for their efforts and hardwork. During this push we located and rescued the Imperial Operative Willoughby Chase, who had been attacked by Drowe, that have formed an alliance with the Silverfolkand other forces of Evil that reside in Upperworld. Willoughby had been rendered incapacitated with something similar to a suspend life but magical in nature. Gaxx proved more than capable of dealing with the matter and we briefed Willoughby, before he returned to primus, I believe to reengage with his imperial masters.

Eventually we reached the rite and working together we performed the rites that would unbind the Ad'Decktuth and destroy the portal. As we did so we faced stiff resistance from the Silverfok, and I offer my gratitude to the Barronness and Baron Von Brehmen, Gaxx, Alex, Ellis and Alechim who all stood valiantly in our defense as we sought to close the portal. Sadly during these attacks the Knight of the Land Alechim fell for the final time, to, I believe, a Silver Blade.He fought valiantly and was instrumental in a number of moments throughout the day, and I am grateful for all his efforts. Had he not been there then I am sure the loss of life would have been much greater.

The portal closed we gathered ourselves and left at speed.

While we will need some time to be certain, I believe that our actions will lead to the reduction (if not the destruction) of almost all of the Empowered Silverfolk, thus drastically reducing their current threat. Though there are more plans afoot by these Silverfolk, they are at least for now placed firmly on the back foot.

To all though who gathered and assisted in this work I thank you, it is my belief that we made a significant impact of the plans of Khorbis and assisted the Khou Sect in their work against the Silverfolk threat that exists on Upperworld.
