OOC: Dungeons for the Guild's Campaign 2022, Campaign Timing Options

Hello

I am your ref for the guild launch dungeon 12 Feb 22. The intent is to make this a regular thing - every month/6 weeks or so.

I’d like to get planning the dates, since ‘real world’ keeps me busy so I need to plan ahead.

Q1: would there be appetite for a midweek dungeon, say in late March? Would be a triple length.

Otherwise I’ll post some suggested dates and we can get them booked in. We start at 3k and I think that feels right for the first few. Rising to 5250 as the next threshold, but not expecting a sudden massive splurge of monster points to min/max the threshold as it rises.

Plot-wise there is a clear story arc to Final Dawn this or next year. So let’s see how we go…

Hi Alasdair it all sounds great to me, I may miss a dungeon after the initial startup as I'm almost 2.9k however if in agreement with all I can do the first 2 and not add any monster points and not buy anything on the 3k table yet, as I'm likely to be around 3060pts or so after the startup.

Appetite for a mid-week Triple length affair, with notice absolutely!

Im currently at 1930pts so very comfortable in the 3k start-up dungeons threshold and likely all the way up to 3k as we progress with the dungeons.

Looking forward to it.

I'd suggest that in order to get the 'sweet spot' for numbers and your availability, to use an online calendar/poll e.g. Doodle (https://doodle.com/en/), will save endlessly reviewing a list of messages for when folks can/can't make suggested dates.

I'll be about 1k for the 1st GS.

I'm playing the 1500 EL in April so following that I will be about 2.2k with luck.

So if we are jumping straight to 5250 threshold after the first I will be well below that level for some time.

A Mid week 3L would have some keen if it tied in with a weekend I would be about for but for me from after the 1st Lead Up I will be back down in Devon for however long it takes to complete on our property sale. No longer will I have the luxury of a 5 minute commute and it'll be back to 5hrs again.

Don't hold back on my account, I'll play when I can jut might not be able to make every event the way I might have previously been planning too.
