All Followers of the Soulforger,

Myself and Ashalan High Priest of the Soulforger Church have been in discussions, and we had a long
but amicable chat, with beer at our side. However strictures that I follow for my Father i must abide by.
I cannot remain within the Church whilst it progresses down the path of the Council of Light.

Times do change but I must uphold the vows made to my father and others, and Ashalan has shown great
understanding of this.

I therefore regrettably announce my withdrawal from the Church of the Soulforger, as agreed and discussed with
High Priest Ashalan.

I sincerely wish you all the best, but on this path I cannot follow.

The Queen and I remain friends with many ales ahead of us. Her father and our lord speaks with different teachings as we are all individuals in his faith. Most surely a relationship between father and daughter will differ to that of church and faith. The church halls are always open to my friend and when or if the time is right she is always welcome to return.

I am not sure about this gathering that I am leading the church to join. It may work for the greater good or we may have to leave. But, being on the outside we can then have no input into its direction. That is why I feel it is the right path for now at least.
