Within Deci the spiritually attuned felt it, like a cold hand on the back of their necks. Those more adept at the supernatural arts could see it, like a dark cloud rising up and... the word ascending sprang to mind. Giant bat like wings in the mockery of an Angel, and a feeling of dread.

In the days that followed, clearly spurred on by this occurrence, random acts of violence and destruction ensued as followers of the Destroyer made their presence felt around the city. It took a little while to get things back under control but clearly there had been a shift in power, centred on Deci.
