A wave of disappointment washed across the Empire with rumours spreading that the time honoured tradition of dancing bears had stopped. The reasons morphed in the telling - ritual strikes, union laws or druids... usually it was druids... whatever the reasons, it seems the bears had stopping dancing. Rumours spread that this was but the first step; next the badgers would stop baiting and the cockerels would make friends. Did this spell the end for the traditional tavern entertainment?
Back in the North, Shiv considered his day. He had travelled some of the most potent mercenaries on Primus and lived to tell the tale. 2 High Priests, the Mentatus, an angel and a senior troll leader of the Brokenlands. He had fought, bled and nearly died to the savage claws of beasts to earn their respect and his grulls but the final parting words of the Saint Michael High Priest kept playing in his ears... "You are dead to me" - perhaps a little dance would have been to politic thing to do... -------------------- Will Power - will@labyrinthe.co.uk
