In a moment of madness, I agreed to ref a mini campaign starting on December 20th. Luckily, I Shanghaied Justin Carroll to co-write and co-ref it.
For all of you hoping to try out your uber characters, you are plain out of luck, sorry... It will be a starting-from-1st-level extravaganza. We are currently toying with the option of keeping it separate from the regular Laby game world until the end of the campaign. But we are open to suggestions from interested folks. There will be no restrictions on what people want to play. It will also have a better name than the one that Jo has given it, but we need to have a think about that one... names are important. Rest assured, we do have a plot and stuff. Dave M (and Justin by proxy) |

I -think- that this needs editing, as I believe that Dave and I are reffing a little campaign starting in December, as it goes.
Good times people. Good times. JC |

Also any vague ideas of follow up dates and how many adventures the campaign will last for?

Generally, I think JC and I would both agree that we're looking at High Dark Fantasy... read into that what you will. We don't want to force anyone's roleplay, and will happily accept people playing what they want to play. No limits.
We also don't want to give away too much about the theme, because that would spoil its intended fun. It is not necessarily linked to any current ongoing plot or theme, such as Imperial/Myron invasion/Baronial etc. Nobody will be overly advantaged or disadvantaged by their class/race choice. In terms of dates - I think something like one every 6 weeks or so. Currently unsure as to the number of adventures, but we'll get back to you all on that one. Dave and J |

It is now looking like we will be changing the start date of this, as it clashes with stuff - will keep you all posted as to the new dates.

I'll be interested. I am up for another from 1st campaign. Quite enjoying the one I am in currently. Dates and stuff for me can be an issue due to shift work, but with planety of notice I should be ok.

I'm very keen too. Few concepts kicking about I'd like to try, and a low could be fun. :-) Talking about closed campaigns Mr Spagnuolo... BBB -------------------- Grey's Law: Any sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice...
PS, Yes, I know my PM Box is full. Email me instead... (Which you can do through the forums email) |

Nobody will be overly advantaged or disadvantaged by their class/race choice. Unless they choose to play a spirit warrior, of course. J -------------------- No of course I won't ref. Are you mad?

Just a wee note - The date of the first of these has moved to January 10th, for lots of reasons.
Jo should be putting it into the event diary now. Mark, this should be long enough to book time off? We'll be looking at the next one in mid-late February, date to be determined and put up shortly. If people have specific questions about 'can I/should I/would it be bad if...' then feel free to PM me or Dave. We'll discuss and get back to you with answers asap. Thanks all, sorry for the confusion. Dave and Justin |

I would quite like to play a scrout that i have been thinking about but i don't want to be a of a million of them. Also i think a good mix of good and evil with me in the middle is always fun but a mix is generally the best.
Looking forward to this as it will be my first campaign. James -------------------- James Isteed

I've booked on for January.
Now gotta think of something to play?! When you say it's not connected to the main Laby game does that mean we can't refer to existing cities? Cos one of my character ideas was a beggar but that relies on city benefits. Will it also affect guild memberships? Also.... do you intend on running specfically on sundays? Cos I can't do Saturdays :-( Kirsty -------------------- If you need anything de-trapping... call the Marchants...

Cos I can't do Saturdays :-( It will not be connected to any current ongoing Laby plot, but it will still be an adventure set in the Labyrinthe game world. So the cities will be there giving you beggar benefits if that's what you choose to play. Guilds will also be available for you to join. We hadn't really discussed the Saturday/Sunday options, but we're happy to negotiate dates for later adventures so that everyone who starts the campaign can play the later ones. Dave and J |
