December 2022 – Details for the month.

I have no idea where this year has gone, its literally passed in a blur, and December feels like it is just around the corner so in true cavie fashion we are planning a fun month of events for December.

The key to a good December is going to be crew, to that end there will be 3 December specific crew rewards:

Themeday Crew: MPs earned on the day can be signed onto a character of choice, credits earned on the day (not writing credits) can be converted to MP’s at 5:1 and again added to a character.
Normal day Crew: Counts as 2 annual incentive ticks, and double MPs.
Wednesday club Crew: Will count as 1 annual incentive tick.

Booking for the themdays is going to be via a master spreadsheet, so please e-mail to book on. When you book on, please tell us how many points the character you are playing will be. This means we can give a more accurate section splits as bookings happen.
Please also e-mail crew bookings for themedays.

Payment for themedays will be required once your booking is confirmed.

Saturday 3rd December – Baronies Day.
A triple length Themeday, set in the Baronies, Suitable for characters from the Baronies, and others who would work with them.
Master Ref: Will Power.
Section Refs 3 section refs required (talk to Will if willing to help).
Level max 10K
Probable Splits 2k, 5K, 10K
Cost £70

Young players will be happening as normal.

Pre-release of club supporter 2023 cards ready at the caves this day. More details to follow on the forums.

Sunday 4th December – Normal Day
This will be a day of normal dungeons at the caves, currently already in the event dairy are;
Atheron campaign part 3, ref Stuart M
Closed Team Zaton max 15K
There is space for another dungeon or 2, if you have something in mind get in touch.

Wednesday 7th December– Wednesday Club.
The usual Wednesday night max 1500 dungeon and pizza, this one being ref’d by Ben G.

Saturday 10th December – Amles Day
A Double length plus themeday. This is a themeday but shorter than normal so everyone can get ready for Christmas drinks.
The plan is to have an early start (10am for time in) to be finishing around 6pm.

Level No Max.
Probable Splits 5K, 10K, No Max

In the evening will be the annual cavie drinks, the vote is still open for marquee or Bickley, so make sure you vote. Ill bump this post in a bit for everyone.

Sunday 11th December – Labyrinthe Open Day
A now traditional part of the calander. The Labyrinthe open day, with traders and short taster dungeons.
I'll be looking for a number of ref/a-ref’s to run short taster single lengths. There will also be a need for crew and probably a chance to play one as well. If you're keen to get involved get in touch.

1 space for an open dungeon this day for those who wont be too hung over from the night before. I'll book it in on the strength of what a willing ref would like to ref.

Thursday 15th December– Midweek triple length.
The last of this years high level mid-week triple lengths, this one a max 20K, reff’d by Sean C.

Saturday 17th December – Good Guy Themeday.
A triple length Themeday, for good guys, be they priest, wizard, scout or warrior (or other brackets).
Section Refs: Greenaway, Gransden and looking for 1 more.
Level max 10K
Probable Splits 3k, 6K, 10K
Cost £70

Sunday 18th December – Normal Day
This will be a day of normal dungeons at the caves, currently there are no dungeons in the event dairy, but there is a private hire using some of the caves, so I'd recommend getting bookings in early.

Wednesday 21st December– Wednesday Club.
The last Wednesday night of the year, a max 1500 dungeon and pizza, this one currently doesn’t have a ref.

Thursday 22nd December– Midweek triple length.
Open max 5250 midweek triple length. no ref as yet.

Saturday 24th December– Christmas Eve.
Young Players happening this day.
As the caves will be open for young players, we will also accommodate our adult players, however given it's Christmas eve, the plan is to have a couple of open dungeons that are long single lengths, so people can have a later start, and an earlier finish. Current thinking is time in at 11:30, time out at 3. If your keen to ref one or set level by booking to play, get in touch.

In a change to the usual 3-day final dawn this year there will be a one day themeday and then normal dungeons available on other days.

Tuesday 27th December – Final Dawn Themeday.
A triple length Themeday, max 1500. The intention is all characters can get involved and mix in different ways as everyone is limited by max 1500.
Lee Dale is heading up the themeday and is looking for 4 section refs to help him.

Wednesday 28th December – Normal Day
This will be a day of normal dungeons at the caves, currently there are no dungeons in the event dairy.

Thursday 29th December – Normal Day
This will be a day of normal dungeons at the caves, currently there are no dungeons in the event dairy.

Friday 30th December – Normal Day
This will be a day of normal dungeons at the caves, currently there are no dungeons in the event dairy.

Saturday 31st Decmeber– New Years Eve.
Young Players happening this day.

As the caves will be open for young players, we will also accommodate our adult players, however given its New Years Eve, the plan is to have a couple of open dungeons that are a bit shorter than normal so everyone can go and celebrate.

Current thinking is time out for 4pm. If you're keen to ref one or set level by booking to play, get in touch.

In the evening will be the now annual new years eve dungeon, more details to follow but it normally starts about 6pm and goes through till after midnight.
