What's in a name?, Halgar Options

In a Tavern in Halgar a jolly man sits in a corner telling tales of adventure and delight, buying everyone a drink whilst the whole tavern listens intently. Once he has everyone's attention, he begins another story.

"Have you ever heard the tale of the World Eater? It's a scary story but one you might find intriguing...

It all began a long time ago when mercenaries decided that Labyrinthia should always be in the Primal Position of the Exostance..." Bert a simple butcher spoke up to say;

"What's the Exostance?" The man smiles and continues.

"Well it's like a very large dark nothingness that is filled with lots of planes like our own, Labyrinthia. Anyway a long time ago all the planes used to move around and take their turn at the centre of all things and it was good for everyone as all the planes took their turn and the Exostance was at peace. It was joyous!! Then one day mercenaries decided that they wanted their home to be at the centre of all things and keep all the power to themselves." A cheer rose up. Cries of "Good for them!" "We are number one!" "Primus is best!" "Go Labyrinthia!!" The man waits for them to settle.

"It turns out this is both a blessing and a curse. Whilst we get to live on this great plane of Labyrinthia and might never be threatened again it started something... The World Eater was created! It roams the Exostance destroying other planes, killing everyone. One day, when it is all fat and bloated on all the worlds it has swallowed it will come for Labyrinthia. Our world will end and only the World Eater will remain." The crowd look on, many faces in disbelief whilst many are intrigued and some are scared. The man continues.

"Well, you know, its probably just a story." and laughs nervously, the others following suit. He then begins a new and much happier story but the seeds are sown the man can tell. After much drinking and merriment he leaves and the peons start talking about whether the World Eater is real or not...
