Mr Pync, I would very much like to purchase your other lot of double strength potions. I'll convert my torcs and hacksilver into your grulls. Sven Thorson. |

I wish to add my thanks to the remorseless crew who were very creative or just assertive with their successful manoeuvrers to pass the line. :-)Andrew So that would be walking then? That fight was an excellent workout. Really safe blows from the party even though I did manage to parry a mace into my own face. |

The cost reductions/make 4 of the same for little increase of cost etc are out there. People have invested a lot of time and effort in developing these. If there is less cash in the system they will need to sell for less. I have a profitable business that two of us worked on for three years and three CC contracts. It was a lot of effort. The old grulls for monster points incentives mean that after 12 monstering sessions you could cash in for 100,000G and a 21/7 item without dipping into the actual monster points earned. Monster twice a month and you have 200,000G in a year. Auction off the 21/7's for 25K and it's another 50K. If you spend all you monster points as well, assuming the lower rate of acquisition, and you have another 100,000. You could earn 350,000 a year without playing at all. So what do I think? Leave things as they are currently with regards to making money. Pay monsters 1K along with their monster point pay. Give an extra 10K with the monster incentive. Have a few more "Well equipped" abilities available as standard. 20 points per free spirits worth of scrolls you can make each week for example. 120 points gets you a scroll of Total Heal each time you are down to play or monster. 10 points per standard healing potion. 8 adventure temp lembas. Etc etc. Tim. |

I really enjoyed monstering for the LotS today. Great Ref, great people to Crew with and a great, if slightly dysfunctional, party. Very emotional at the end. Well played everyone. Tim. |

Big thanks to Pete Smith for a thoroughly enjoyable day. Lots of Druid stuff for us non-Druids to get our teeth into including lots of lovely Ogham. Great combination of ritual work and ongoing combat. Our great front line made that possible. Also thanks to our great monster crew of Chris, Sam & a special mention to the juggernaut of an A-Ref that was Hoz. My favourite moment? Hoz had been fighting solidly for 15 minutes. I pulled him aside to give him some ice-water just in time to see Chris who, as a demon, had spent those 15 minutes sneaking up on us. Some good deeds do go unpunished. Loved this well statted & challenging day. Tim. |

Thanks to Aodhan for reffing a great adventure set in the Baronies and for Hoz A-Reffing & Adam & Easton for crewing. (Thanks for being there so that some of us didn't have to book off to monster. Much appreciated!) It was nice to see Chris as Scheinder Vrekstein actually being deferred to by Baronial guards etc. Our slightly eclectic party worked surprisingly well taking on a well thought out and credible plot. I had a great day. Really pushed hard by Aodhan's "Very reasonable stats" and running out of power at the end. Excellent. Enthusiastic monstering from Jack, Pete and Lizzy. Liked the party a lot. Great bunch to be with. Tim. |

I was intending to monster the Rescue Anarchus but that seems full for crew. The Earthsunder/Soulforger is woefully lacking in crew though. Probably end up doing that one. |

In the case of the killing of Sukh of the Oryx Tribe by Lorne of the Lo Thi within the Broken Lands I have reached the following verdict. Sukh, whilst embodied of an undead, was controlled by a Vampire to attack his fellow Tribesfolk. Whilst defending others Lorne struck him several times. When the undead was banished Sukh’s mortal form did not fall immediately and the next two blows from Lorne slew him. After taking statements from a number of witnesses, and having spoken to both involved, I have decided that the outlaw-hood on Lorne is to be removed with the following caveats. Lorne is bound over to keep the peace for one year and if, during that time, he slays another mercenary this event will be considered in his sentencing. Furthermore, in line with the will of the Totems, Lorne will be cast out of the Totemic Guardians. He may, however, rejoin after one month of contemplation with the agreement of the three Sires of the Totemic Guardians. Finally Wergild, of my choosing, will be paid to Sukh by Lorne, or on his behalf. (In this case, as items of power are lost upon Sukh's death, the Wergild will be a spiritual blade.) Kurth Honeyman. Magistrate of the Broken Lands. This verdict has been ratified by both the Covenant and King Snuffy. |
