Necromancy University, Seeking new heads of department Options

It gives me great pleasure to announce that our first position at the University has been filled by Senior Fellow Rufus Stone, Church of Dead Heroes who is now the Professor and Head of Department for Anatomy, Master of Laboratories and the Embalming Arts.

Additionally, Rufus will be assisting me in my Forge where it is hoped he will be able to research new artefacts.

A timely reminder; this University explores the cosmic forces of life, death, and undeath.

Requirements for Admission

You must be some form of a Necromancer and able to read and write scrolls.

Unholy Champions from the Church of Iron and Empire with an undead stairway are welcome to join and exempt from the writing requirement provided they can read evil scrolls and utilise evil spirit items.

If after the completion of your Head of Department Contract (below) you do not play for a period of 12 months, then other players are welcome to apply to replace your position.

You are encouraged to research your own spells and abilities using the Universities facilities (or at least mention this within points applications) and share any knowledge you have gained with other University Heads.

You must not be outlawed or ostracised by race of otherwise and you must respect the rule of law (in that you wouldn't raise a member of your party as undead unless they were willing or unleash a mindless ghoul to attack the defenceless or a village of Peons).

Bursary

Every active Department Head will receive a grull cash payment (funds permitting) from the University Trust to help towards their education, clothing, books and any other equipment required for their roles. In return you are expected to further the aims and objectives of the University. Should any funds be required for these, please contact the trust head Sir Joram Hellion for payment.

Well made armour, weapons and woven robes will be made available (tiered to your level) free of charge.

In return, you are expected to gather places of power, books and associated artefacts linked to Necromancy for the University to study.

You are to ensure that malevolent and malicious undead are made safe (once all other avenues are considered) and that the local community are safeguarded against the risks they pose wherever that may be.

It is strongly recommended that you check the motivations of any undead you encounter beyond face value. Recruiting a pack of undead to clean the University grounds who go on to kill the local populace would not be acceptable. Choose your questions carefully and seek assurances beyond a simple yes or no.

Contracts

Contracts for each role within the University, contracts will be available and are to be completed within 12 months (this may be extended for various reasons). Once completed you will be provided a Lecturer Necromancer CP (which I hope will last as long as you remain in post rather than the standard 12 months) and the official title of the relevant Head of Department. Until then, while applying for this post you may refer to yourself in title as an Associate Professor.

Expulsions

Any University heads of department found to have broken the law are immediately suspended until due process is completed and will immediately no longer receive a bursary or support from its trust fund.

If a conviction is upheld and the member finds themselves outlawed or ostracised, they are considered to be no longer be welcome within the University Halls and their position becomes immediately open for new applicants.
