Sellaville Day - 23rd April Options

Hey folks,

I am looking forward to running a Sellaville themed City Day on Saturday 23rd April

I have the following ref team

Lows (max 3k) Giles
Mids (max 10k) Andy B
Highs (max 20k) Gordon
Ultras (no max) Fisher

It would help you and your refs if you confirm who you are playing once you have decided.

Likewise, sending your ref a copy of any CC you plan to work on in advance is likely to be better for all involved.

Crew: We need a decent number of monsters to make the day run smoothly, so please monster if you can


Crew Incentives:

It’s a triple length. At the end of the day monsters, a-refs and refs will be able to convert any earned credits into Monster Points at 7:1. All MPs earned that day may then be directly signed onto a character card. This must be done on the day with your section ref and recorded on their debrief sheet.

So if you monstered the day, you would earn 20MPs per section for 60MPs plus 5 for promptly handing over your cards at the end of the day. 65 total

If you converted your credits to MPs, you would earn a further 126MPs for a total of 191 which could be converted to character points and added to a character of your choice.

A-reffing nets 347 CPs if you convert everything

Refs gain 650 CPs if converting everything.


You also get a theme day make slot.

The CP conversion rate is less that the rate post covid, but is still very good. I believe it will be continued to be reduced in the future as the effects of covid are (hopefully) put behind us.

Empire comes round every year (apart from last year with Covid).

Sellaville days are much rarer

You should just bin off Empire for another year!

It's likely to the be the #1 trade event for the year, bigger than the Gathering. It's work, not play.

If you are considering playing this as a character above 10k and have not booked on please could you let my know.

This is to help decide if the 10 - 20k section wil be combind with the no max.

Since the above post no one has said they are considering playing a higher character so i will be combining the top 2 sections into a 10k+ section reffed by The Fisher.

David will be taking it as a personal challenge to try to craft a adventure that all point levels in his party can reasonably interact with, but i understand playing a 11k character with no maxers is not for everyone.
