Inquistional Update, A busy first quarter... Options

I hope this missive finds you well. Aprius is such a wonderful time in the mercenary calendar, with the Deathly season firmly behind us and the mercenary community also looking ahead to their summer exploits.

As always, the last quarter has been a busy time for the assorted heroes, villains, faiths and dragons of the Exostance. Sadly, as always some are seeking to push the envelope of their quests for personal or defic power just that little but to far without considering the impacts on the good people of the Empire and beyond.
Anyhow, please find my current musings, observations and occasional warnings of the timelines in play:

Alechim – Good luck with the whole Champion of Death mantle. The Onyx seat at the ‘Elemental Lord’s table’ has been vacant for far too long. Excellent to see it will hopefully be safely in the hands of someone vaguely sane bearing in mind its nature. Not sure it’s a great Dinner Party opener though…

Karn – Well if there is one thing you can say about the Tryst, it is they love a good ritual. This chap wants to be their High Ritualist. Is he impressive and knowledgeable enough, time will tell…

Amadou – I’ve no idea what you are up to but convincing people you were once the Elemental Lord of Fire and Ebony, seems a bit out there. I’m sure you have your reasons…

Tatara – I’d be extremely careful on establishing an Elemental Font of Water in Lu-Chang province. Draconic power is pretty balanced in Amlas and this will throw it all out of kilter – Ying, Yang and all that.

Damien – Your investigations into other City Spirits is a little problematic, I’m assuming its not to cross-pollinate and share ideas for the betterment of the Empire. This one goes in the watchlist pile. I can’t get at you easily but you have plenty of Kallah out there in the mercenary community – just ask Squim and the Spider Tribe..

Lomo – Everyone’s favourite naughty little monkey is seeking to become a published author and realise his memoires across Primus. Real page turner I’d imagine.

Fabadon – Be careful with Amber magic please old bean

The Swarm – Uhm, secret tunnel system below Thimon. Sounds fine in theory, keeps the rats of the streets I suppose. I jest, good luck my rodentine friends..

Lo’Thian – Its not an Imperial City, so there isn’t an instant sanction heading your way. If anyone is interested, Primus’ most industrious druid assassin is seeking to attack and weaken Astolay, the City Spirit of Ghalabad

Church of Condesecration – Like a turd that just won’t flush, they are back. I’m sure they will make great neighbours with their new Grand Guild Hall

Carasay – Is seeking to become an Arch Angel of Chaos. Brilliant, just what the world needs. I think we mentioned him last quarter, tread carefully should you meet this delightful little chap

18th Legion – Vaguely serious warning here. Please cease and desist the ritual to create a permanent gloom over Bildteve to block out sunlight. I understand this will make undead easier to summon but it obviously won’t lead to better conditions for the rest of the good folk of Bildteve. I’ll be keeping an eye on this one, should I see any further work towards this aim the full force of the Inquisition will be brought to be bare. Anyway, no harm done yet but looking at future timelines it doesn’t end well – back to the drawing board on that one…

As always, feel free to empower your patrons but always ritualise responsibly and never ritualise the morning after the night before…
