Church of Knowledge, Max250 Startup Dungeon Options

Hi,

We want to start the Church of Knowledge and associated guild early next year. The current plan is to start on the 4th of February on a max 250 (or potentially a little higher if people have existing characters that could join). It will be low enough so that players can start new characters on the day and most people will be doing this. If you are interested, please let me know, and I can add you to the WhatsApp group.

There are no advisor slots on guild startups. It could be possible once we get going.

This is booked for the 4th Feb and has 8 players and a ref already. It is a max 250 and most people if not everyone will be starting new characters for it. I will publish more info on the ethos, miracle list and types of priests that can join tomorrow.

The idea is that any alignment priest can join and the list only contains neutral miracles. Priests can add good/evil later as appropriate to their alignment. Hermit priests may align and keep their original miracle list. This would make Paladins, Grey Knights and Unholy Champions viable character choice options. Although with Paladins and Unholy Champions, I suspect a points app to define their restrictions may be a sensible idea.

Miracle List:
1. Millie's Detect Spirits, Detect Spirit’s Nature, Halt, Spirit of Seeing.
2. Spirit of Seeing and Hearing.
3. Talk to Spirit, Protection from Spirits, Spirit Shield, Detect Lie.
4. Major Prayer, Rune of Power, Spirit Bolt, Communication
5. Identity Spirit, Spiritual Invisibility, Voice of Power, Remove Voice of Power.
6. Control Wight
7.
8. Greater Communication

Here is the aspirational ethos of the founder of the church. Followers are welcome to have different opinions, but all are united but the quest for knowledge:

Ethos:

Forbidden Knowledge: Some knowledge is too dangerous to be shared freely. This should not be destroyed but instead should be kept safely and securely in case it is needed. No knowledge should be destroyed.
