Quick ques, Pure force Options

A quick question for those with more experience in how this stuff works, as I think its known by many and just escapes me so not worth asking Lee as a clarification

Can a spirit only person with 'pure force' standardly use it to counter a mantic spirit bolt, given they'd only be affected by the spirit element anyway? Or is that non std territory?

Dave in general, the wording is as follows:

From Major sphere Force
While in a spiritual form (miracle, MR etc)
Uses path slot
Pure force now works vs anything with a spiritual component
On me only

Then put in

Stage 2 - wide pure force (1/day pure force effects everything for next 3 seconds) - ( , )

Stage 3 - lasting pure force (1 day pure force will apply to all instances of the attack it was use don for the next 5 mins) - ( , )

Focused casters get a lot more than this but these are the basics
