Word spread around the towns on Ishma’s eastern coast that the trade ships from the Island chain off to the north had not made any of their scheduled visits for nearly 2 weeks.

The Island chain, known locally as the Trinity Isles, contains 3 main isles rich in natural resources within many much smaller isles.

There was much speculation that the Kraken which had not been seen for many years may have destroyed the ships. Maybe pirates from the Far North attacked? Or could the D’Treals have got there and offered them more profitable trade deals?
