A Dark Chorus, Inner Halgar Options

Early on a Thorsday morning, beastly ethereal animals clawed at the wall of Inner Halgar. They scratched and they tore and eventually they found a hole and burst into the city proper. From that point on the day became harder to keep track of. Civilians and Watch alike collapsed to the ground and rose once more, whispering musical words that turned your stomach and broke your soul.

An efficient evacuation plan was rapidly put into place and mercanaries responded rapidly in order to funnel the undead into place. Their quick actions and effective communication ensured that casualties were minimal, but close to 150 lives were lost.

During the violence large strikes initially occurred at The Triumpherant, focused on The Church of Dead Heroes and The Church of The Empress Goddess, and also at The Imperial Mint. Later in the day a large group of the undead, lead by a preacher created a brief siege at The Temple of The Tryst. Several Acolytes of the Tryst died but the church broke through themselves after only an hour or so.

Throughout the day faint choral notes hung on the wind throughout the city. It is only now, several weeks later, that they have stopped completely.
