Welcome to the 15K 4-day

Whether a monster or player, we hope to make this a fun and enjoyable event. Like the other events, here are a few thoughts from Rich and me:

- Non-linear – we are planning to write A LOT of material. Those with a hankering to discover an interesting story line or mini-plot will have plenty to discover.
- NPCs that are realistic and not 2-dimensional (fun to RP with, drink with or perhaps murder with knives)
- Proptastic – I loved both the effort from Carlo, Rich F and Ajay a few years back and the effort from Rich and Callum last year. We are going to try and make this full of interesting props to interact with
- Start time – We’d like to start as early as possible. Even if there aren’t enough monsters on site yet, I’m sure we can figure out a way to maximise “time in” (the 7.5K had time in from when you wake up, which worked really well. We will look at logistics to see if this can be replicated)
- Lead ups – we are thinking 2. The first only loosely connected to the plot, a chance for you all to meet. The second will be directly connected. Dates to follow
- Spends & Non-standards – We will check all of these in due course. Again, nothing too onerous but please be prepared to discuss any “edgy” ones 😊

A few thoughts for the players:
- Try to have a party that can actually do things. No point all being scouts, try for a balance. At 15K, its likely many players are in 2 or even 3 brackets (4 if Carlo plays…) so our expectation is you can cover all the bases.
- If things get too much for you, let a ref know and step out for a bit. Reset and come back. Much better than losing your cool and embarrassing yourself.
- Drinks – most folks like a drink. We’ll have no issue with sending player to bed if they drink too much… then we can all laugh together in the morning. No hassle, no tears just keep this in mind
- Cheating – there is huge difference between making a mistake and cheating. Errors happen… don’t be afraid to admit a “Mea Culpa” moment. Out and out cheating will be dealt with directly and hopefully immediately. Again, nothing too onerous, we are all here to have fun
- There will be no limit on items, whether Tombola, MP or Guild Items – bring your best self!
- Finally, the event is targeted off Primus. A new world to explore and engage with. We are telling you this now in case you have weird stuff that cripples you off world…
