Hi Everyone;

I floated this on the Whattsapp group a while ago, but thought I'd also seek the wisdom of the boards.

I'm starting to think about taking armour master multi-class to 7th and 8th level once I hid the requisite points and I'm not sure what'd either be a good fit for the character or what's feasible to put in for. If anyone has any suggestions, or (even better) any examples of things they've had passed for 7th/8th armour master for similar characters, I'd love to hear them!

The Character
It's for Agravain, my human pro-imperial lawful-evil dominion stairway Unholy Champion (anti-paladin). I'm trying to build him to be as survivable as possible. So far almost all of his points have gone into increasing his DAC, PAC and picking up the MC as soon as able. He's bracket-locked into warrior and will be picking up trained warrior eventually, so a multi-race isn't something I'm looking at. If there are any other multi-classes I should be considering (I've flicked through Evo:Classes and not had any jump out at me), I'd also like to hear about them!

What I'm looking for
I'm not sure how many more points of armour mastery are feasible
I'd be interested in some supernatural protections; although may just pick these up off tables
Armour master gives a few individual blows of rockskin and a five min rockskin on the 1-6 progression, so I could look at improving these

Ultimate goal for armour master is obviously -12pts off weapon blows. And that your armour applies to every weapon blow, you also want to consider your armour counts as innate PAC.

In regards to reductions, I would consider fury within… its solid

You could also write some kind of class that gives you reductions vs those you have cursed, controlled etc, turn fears into bedazzles (cant use masteries against me unless you are immune to fear etc. I can see options in that

Also I realise you are unsure about a MR but its a serious and powerful slot you only get one off, so don’t underestimate its ability to change your stats and fill your gaps and weaknesses

Try this (but it really depends on how many points you want to spend on this specific theme)

Seven
- Any armour worn becomes master status
- PAC from any armour worn becomes innate PAC
- Innate PAC always applies vs. all weapon blows (becoming +0 supernatural effectively)

Eight
- from bracket locked into Warrior Bracket
- if my armour phys rep looks great and is heavy armour, armour mastery improves by 1 point (max 12). May buy this immediately. May buy additional points on T9-12 until a max of 12 points is reached at ______ per point

Other ideas:

- if my armour is heavy, weighing at least 10KG in total, it also grants 1/3 off any damage grade from a blow it applies against, My increase this to also work vs non damage grades (so a quad + shock - both elements now have 1/3 off) for ______ points. May further increase to 1/2 off for ______ points on T11

- exactly the same but a perm % reduction

Together this gives the trinity of 12 points, 50% and 1/2 effect

Alternatively, apply for post 8th, it also becomes resilience but that really is a 10K+ area to play in
