A Dog howl, Qiangdu province Options

In the Qiangdu province dogs can be heard for miles. That kind of bark they tend to do when they can see something their masters cannot. It is a relatively normal day, no blackened skies or thunderous decree's from the heavens. just plain really. The kind of day where you might have to prepare for rain, maybe not. Nothing was unusual, or out of place, except the increasing volume of the pacts of dogs. Villagers and local clansmen and women flocked to the main grounds where the canines were, to find one hole being dug into the floor. One man, in his thirties, was digging relentlessly whilst more people were stopping the dogs from approaching two bodies that lay on the floor. Not even the more respected members of the clan could stop the dogs from frantically misbehaving

The two bodies that lay in front of the growing crowds were simply covered in a kind of beige cotton fabric. The kind of fabric one would assume a peasant would be dressed in, definitely not anyone important. The local people looked at each other in a bizarre way, not really understanding why the dogs were collecting at these bodies. Some parents were desperately trying to drag their hounds back but with very little success. Rather disturbingly, one of the bodies had a clear red patch. That familiar red patch one usually sees after assassinations, seeping from the neck. The other seemingly unharmed, but who knows what the body within looks like.
The first body soaked with red around their neck is lowered down into the hole by the younger gentlemen and a few others at his arm. As soon as the soil is shoveled above their lifeless corpse, the dogs stray away, as if removed from a horrible domination, and revert back to their playful behaviour. The folk look even more confused. Why just that one? Why not the other? What was it about that body? Was it the blood?

The second body is placed above the first, with more soil added. A singular purple flower was planted above the grave, and a stone placed above them: 'Tahken Brothers... Cause of Death... Dishonour and unknown'.

Later that evening, Cha Tuongwe was travelling in the setting of the sun, with a few of his personal hounds. Old but deadly. It is not usual for Tuongwe to look disturbed, but on this night, he most definitely was.
