My dear friends,
I am sorry to be the one to bring you sad news but perhaps you can shed some light on the matter. If nothing else, some understanding of why this may have happened might help. Mo, Faldor's son who was only a few weeks old, is missing but presumed dead. It is a mystery, we do not know quite what happened but his crib was found empty, it was covered in blood and there was a note which simply said "Return that which is mine or more will follow" So far as I know, we have taken nothing from anybody and we have not been able to find anything out. It is hard to imagine how anybody got into the building without being seen and yet there were no witnesses. When we pray for guidance and wisdom on this matter we learn nothing. Faldor, who is normally unshakable no matter the odds or the situation, and his wife are understandably inconsolable. Ok I’m not happy !
I’ve done what I can but I cannot find a spirit and I’ve lost my link. The whole thing stinks of nasty people. It seems to be some sort of power used but it’s almost like it was a whisper but so dark and evil. I’ve tried to hunt it down but I’ve got no leads. I’m going to go out hunting in Lancas see what I can find and where I can bring hope for those that need it and judgment on those that deserve it Mo |

The person/being involved is well shielded. Any attempt to see a vision is fogged.
So.... it's Cowled figure. Massive sense of extreme hatred. "Return that which is mine or more will follow" refers to the book/box that we took. I would say that the child is very likely dead as I heard a child cry in final anguish. I can't be absolutely sure of that though. Yorso. |

The box we found was a sealed box, no obvious way to open it. We were able to find it contains a huge amount of evil power of both spiritual and magical nature.
The box was linked to a person called Shanto, which we belived came from the Tsu’narmi lands, those who provided most resistance to despair. I asked the members of Shiang'Yizhi tribe to ask around for any mentions of this person as they were shield from scrying, the only details of someone who could have been him was a man who was seen a couple of times in taverns with a hood up. Anyone who had any memories of him however was found dead a few days later. Spencer -------------------- Rich

Way out of my pay grade, and will let the much more qualified than me to decide if it's a good idea, but I would be happy to destroy the power of the box.
