Good morning hear follows the information we gained as payment for work rendered by members of the guild resently. I wish to strike quickly against these ancient folk and destroy them in retribution for attacks against us in the past.

The Box of Banishment

Legend has it there are 4 trees at the four furthest points of Primus, North, South, East, West planted from seeds of the World Tree they denote the boundaries of Primus itself and enable druids to navigate across the Primus itself. The Box was reputed to be made from branches of these trees, and there were stories as to who had made it, some said the Laiu, some said a great shaman, but it was in fact the one of the Eth-Aderact, a war monger and one of their most skilled armourers and weapon smiths, originally a dark duergar named Metiisto, he had created the box to imprison one of the Laiu and to bind it to his service. He was banished at the end of the First Age, along with the other Eth-Aderact (though it transpired he hid in the Box to avoid this). Metiisto had a wife, a titled lady of the ancient folk, who retained the Box and it was passed down to her firstborn. Metiisto had, as a bridal gift, constructed a fortress for his wife and her bloodline. The fortress remains hidden deep in the Exostance and remains a bastion for the ancient folk house, known as the House of Tsha-Lusan. At some point the Box left the possession of House Tsha-Lusan and some I believe you know some of its more recent history



The House of Tsha-Lusan

The House of Tsha-Lusan head of house is the bride of Metiisto. We believe she is long dead but still around. Her progeny are many, mostly minor trouble makers who use marital pacts to gain power for themselves and the House. The most notable are:



Dyvin Vorn – notable necromancer and blue wizard, but perhaps of more interest is married to a Beholder, apparently their marital pact means either can summon the other and either can appear if the other dies. He tends to mark members of his family and can summon and raise them. The Beholder is also capable of animating the dead.



Dyvin Shard – an assassin wedded to a silver folk Hag Queen



Dyvin Wrath – the eldest child of the matriarch and the House war leader, bound to several potent demons



Dyvin Meek – the House ritualist and arcane scholar, and pactkeeper. A silver and ivory mage, he drafts the marriage pacts



The Matriarch of House Tsha-Lusan – bride to Metiisto probably some kind of undead revenant.



I don’t believe any of them have a Pact with Glass or even much interest in Primus or the Empire, we’d rather that didn’t change. They do appear to be possessed of vitae though.



Their fortress can only be entered with a pact between yourself and the fortress itself (presumably its genius locus). However we have a possible location of a pact which would enable members of your organization to effect an entrance into the fortress.



The City of Bright Lights

The city was an ancient folk citadel located in what became the Rorthril Fens, possibly it was hidden there or forgotten about due to convergence. However it is possible to walk a secundal path and enter its ruins. Somewhere beneath those ruins there is a repository which may well contain the pact you need. The repository belongs to an ancient folk, we have granted him a pact with glass in return for the means to enter the repository and access to its contents. We’re willing to give you the key he has given us and you are welcome to the pact and any details about the Tsha-Lusan fortress, in return we want you to get into the repository and retrieve whatever paperwork you can for us. If there are any artefacts in there, you are likewise welcome to them, we just want the paperwork.



If that works for you – then I’ll meet you on Starsday at a waystation, the last before you enter the Rothril fens if you take the Biltdeve road, with the key and how to reach the repository, or at least where to start looking.
