Well this is a fecking mess isn't it...
First Point and I fully expect you to ignore this perspective, and it's a discussion I've had for years and years with little or no success. The Throne destroys reality as it should be, it creates an endless cycle of war, death and suffering on countless worlds, and forces my people and all other divinities into an endless cycle of mindless hungry warfare for mortal belief. Yet somehow the only people who ever seem to want to destroy it (Vexatacor, Pep, this new guy...) are all mad evil little gits, why? because doing so is going to hurt people, I get that, but honestly have you considered just letting them do it? whether the world goes back to rotating around some giant metaphorical wheel or not, the decree of day and night causes death on an unimaginable scale and needs to be stopped. I spoke with Truic on this and she accepts its a bad thing but she can't change it... Why not just let the Throne go, and find a new path... Believe me it will be a better world if you do. Second Point we have seen the Triune, crop up in our recent dealings with our old enemy (who we basically destroyed at least twice now... but see above) they were first Age bigwigs... not sure if they are the real deal, but they are certainly pretty powerful... Last point the world eater, it exists as more than just entropy, I have seen what it does but it can't truly destroy worlds as such, I live in a place it came too, and changed irrevocably... but it's still here, I'm still here the Reach still stands. Anyway I will discuss matters privately, but I don't want to dig into this too deeply unless you are open to actually just letting the Throne go as a realistic option... in which case lets discuss... I've kept mostly quiet, but just to clarify a couple of things:
First Point: Didn't we just find out a few weeks ago - that a reason the Laiu moved the Throne was to imprison something, and that if the Throne was destroyed it would destroy Primus? Now that may have been an oblique reference to the Wylde, but we've barely dealt with Pep, had a chance to explore the repercussions. I'm not so keen to 'let the Throne go' - not from a desire to be top of the Exostance league tables, but becuase the suggestion is that Primus will be destroyed. We know the impact that simply moving the Throne had on the lands we now know as Ishma (thousands died and a verdant land became a desert). Second Point: Just a correction - there is a Triune for each age - the First Age Triune comprised of Ar, Mathe and Kuine, we had some thoughts on the identity of the second age Triune and the Third Age they are unknown - possibly yet to take on the mantle Thirdly: The precise nature of what has been termed the World Eater is a matter of conjecture, one thing I do know is that rituals result in entropy. Entropy is dangerous. If there is a ritual that has been planned for 1000 years involving 21 planes of existence - that is a lot of entropy, which will kill a lot of people - people working on this should consider that, if they haven't already (I am not saying they haven't, just I haven't seen it). I almost feel sorry for Pep, if he'd waited a few weeks he could have joined this Council and helped them try and destroy the Throne in 10 months. Morgan Sireless. |
