To all mercenaries.

I am in need of assistance. About half a dozen villagers from our village have been taken in the night by a mysterious force. They were all either plucked from their beds or from the streets of the town last night. Residents reported seeing strange hooded figures around town too. This morning, we sent some of the village scouts out to see if they could gather any intel and they found tracks leading off into the woods of Dark Forest, about half an hour from our village. We followed the tracks for a good while until we found them leading into an abandoned clocktower, deep in the woods of the Dark Forest.

If any mercenaries are interested in helping then please come to the village of Wandlefarsly, just south of Scarlene on the edge of the river by the Dark Forest. Meet me in my mayoral offices at half past the tenth hour this Sunsday. I have scraped together enough funds to pay each mercenary 3000G, assuming we get the normal turnout for this kind of expedition.
