Monty was an excellent associate, good humoured, and a pleasant travelling companion.

He was an expert in Magical wardings and had many other varied talents which helped us protect the season of winter which was under attack.

As the final ritual was being unwoven a powerful, and very unpleasant, creature appeared and struck Monty down as he was helping deal with the rite. The force of its weapon blows, bound with green and black magics, gave Monty no chance at all. In an instant he was a block of ebony with a slightly surprised expression on his face.

Skitter, having ascertained that he could not, or wished not, be restored spoke the words of her faith over him exhorting the example of heroes past and this seemed to settle upon him.

It was decided to raise a statue to him which I am fully confident will be worth at least 5,000 grulls.
