Calling the White Wind, Max 1K Guild Special 7th October Options

Fellow followers of the White Wind,

After investigating a mercenary hire just over a month ago, I experienced a number of things (along with Pillar of Light, an aspect of the warrior previously known as Tollum) which we believe should not be possible within Primus, that requires the attention of an organisation such as ours. Radiant has kindly given me permission to organise a group to investigate further.

The organisation (Horace and Co.) with the hiring licence has uncovered multiple locations, which appear to have origins from before the Namer War and are ransacking these places for unknown purposes. They hold scant regard for their hires and have abandoned them to their fate on at least two occasions.

The location that was investigated my myself and Pillar was an ancient temple of Shallya - An undead summoner and other peon hires were removing both the holy artefacts within and the consecrated marble of the structure itself. I of course cleansed the temple of these malign influences and with Pillars help we returned the template to the light by bringing it to Shaehan as we believe should have happened during the Namer War itself. Naturally upon our return I slew the hirer, who I had initially discerned was black of nature, for his crimes against the light in sending undead into a Holy place to ransack and corrupt it.

Since this event it has come to light that there was a previous hire by this company, within the border of the Ishmaic Confederacy, which also appears to have had significant negative connotations for the people hired. Temur is likely our key contact; an Ishmaic "trapspringer" and storyteller.


I seek to understand three things with your help.
1. How the organisation is finding things that we would normally expect to be hidden due to the effects of the Night of Levity
2. How these ancient temples were not affected by what Pillar and I understood until now to be the Primus-wide effects of the Naming War (of which we both a part)
3. Who is behind this organisation and how to bring them to justice.

We believe that Horace and Co were used by one Heinrich Schleiman who is likely the force able to detect these locations, or a proxy for the real culprit. We are unable to divine anything about this being and I personally suspect that Heinrich Schleiman is an alias, so will begin with questioning the survivors of the location uncovered in Ishma to see if we can work out a pattern to these locations and help to uncover how they are being discovered and hopefully bring justice and retribution to Schleiman and his associates.

Radiant of Talthar, our Patron and leader, has kindly given me permission to call for others of the White Wind to uncover and eliminate this insidious and evil threat to Primus. My old friend Reast has provided some scrolls for us to use in our investigation and I will distribute these among those able to use them. Naturally anything we find that is of use will be donated to the White Wind to help further our cause.

Looking forward to playing this. Quick question. Clayton would like to play on this too as his blue wizard but he bought the drow caves supporter thing and put the points on his card. This currently puts him at 1345 points although he has only spent 1095. Would he be able to play? What's the general ruling on stuff like this.

I believe that I have a trail to follow, but I am concerned that discussing it before the time is right will mean the prey you are seeking goes to ground early. If you gather by Medinat al-Ashriea, a half-day away from Ghalabhad, by the tents displaying the sigil of your guild, I will explain what can be done.

I will explain more if asked, but I know not how safe this channel of communications is and I do not wish to tip the scales in favour of your quarry.

I am afraid that this is not a "hire" and I cannot offer payment. Know only that I wish justice for the lives of many of my people.
