ogre magi 7/8 Options

Morning all,

Looking for ideas for an ogre magi base race (3 day) blue/gold warlock.

I have spirit quad from an item so not overly looking to go spiritual magi


ATM my ideas are

trade 7/8 for elements bound

pool ogre innates into mana pool + any innates I buy

AoD perm Huuricane...mainly to annoy Greenway (or like 1 weapon mastery one)

Last htk brown.

Standard stuff, any other ideas be solid!

Ive got a tombola 7 and 8 that looks half decent. Some healing from lightning, and a bunch of innates stuff from memory.

I got

- lose specialisation but the first innate of each spell bought using Ogre Mage is at 1/2 cost
- Twist the sword innates (2)... you know what these do
- Gaseous form x 2 (only seen by elemental or mana sight, only harmed by spells)
- make sure you stipulate that you get extra 1-6 innates if you want them

I also have

- True Believer innates (30s to cast a blue spell max cost = table)
- base life increase
- use path slot to turn innates mantic
- extra innates like strom dart x 8, thunder clap x 4, thunder bolt x 2
- lightening bolt @ will with full verbal vs 1 target for 1 tblp each (60 points each)
- chains of stormblast & lightening bolt
- electric shock by touch / blow @ will
- immune to detrimental blue mana and all "storm" powers specifically including all forms of mist

A really good MC

- double ranges on storm powers
- regen 2 stromblasts per 15 mins
- regen 1 lightening bolt per 15 mins
- rolling cast storm powers
- if I cast 4 x stormblast and 2 x lightening bolt, I get a thunderbolt for free
- 1/day a lightening bolt does a knockdown
- perm clarity on storm powers under a proper cloudy day / clarity 1 / day with storm powers

(I say really good... it basically does nothing at my level now. 40 ranged blue mana hits every 30 mins might kill 1 wave monster...)

I'd consider losing 7/8 to get Greater Ogre which is a super MR for the points (18/6 life, stacking grade of strength, 3 innate PAC and imm to domination for 460 points - whats not to love). SOmetimes you just want more of the basics
