I had major sphere healing as an Evil sphere that worked on undead, but it was really restrictive. Based on regen and not being living.
Only applied to my tribe Half effect unless had published regen 3 as troll. Miles -------------------- The game is not always about balance
Apply rule 7 and don't overthink it. |

Yup, asked that question in response to this thread just to double check. Seems like a great way to do undead healing.

Death's Advocate Miracle list must include all the handbook necromancy miracles before buying this ability. If & When takes a major sphere it must be necromancy Published Causing tree/sphere miracles which are listed as effecting the undead no longer inflict harm (e.g Cause Minor to Cause Grievous, but not Suspend Life or TOD). If cast upon an Undead they heal half their published / base damage instead. If cast upon anything that's not Undead the miracle fails, but the spirits (and casting damage) are lost. Soul's Hunger can not be used. In the case of Characters with an Undead multirace, (or in other insteances of doubt) this applies to those who have "Immunity to Miracles which do not effect the Undead" nice thanks great idea, has this been done ?? -------------------- Jay

I tried a black mana route - a la animate-ing scarecrows, trying to get some formal of physcial 'fixing' for corporeal undead. That was a flat no but perhaps time to try to see if I can get anywhere with combined mana/necromancy route.

One oif the kids has a non-standard miracle, necromancy and healing I think, "Joined to the Netherworld", 4sp, cast on undead and they regens as troll for one hour, doesn't stack, can buy make it stack on table I think 3. (Doing this from memory, the actual paperwork is in another house.) So it's (ish) a slow cure serious for twice the price, but it does let you heal undead.
