We have a joint Guild Special open and ready to go on Saturday 15th April thanks to Owen pestering and Fromum agreeing to ref.
Gone for a lower threshold event as there are quite a few newer characters that feel they might not play well in the open system so much alongside some lower threshold Talthar interest. Not planning on any adviser slots currently, we obviously need to get to a full party for it to count, but worse case guild themed is solid. I expect to be able to unleash "Spark" for the first time in years being a sub 250pts Rogue. So get booked on, let's get smiting, lets get some extension and guild CC's advanced. -------------------- Gordon Court

So putting down a party list as it stands to try and work out where we sit with guild members across the two guilds so we know what the event is likely to actually be and some form of party list for Rich to have better understanding.
Owen - Grisgriel - Talthar - 15k+ Advisor slot - but only if it is a Talthar G/S... Gordon - White Wind (possibly Talthar too) Dave S: LotS Frozen Tiger Paladin - White Wind - 1700pts Fury: Lucian Flynn - Duellist/Priest - Talthar (possibly White Wind?) Craigy: "Peon of Power" - Talthar RRR: ??? Carl: Ggrutuk Cavalier/Warrior Priest - Talthar & White Wind Sonny: Ray - Light Elf White Wizard - 2k - Neither (possible White Wind Recruit...but also this is Sonny...) Pete Walls: TBC - Guest - so counts for neither. Phil Parr: ??? Currently the event can be one of the following 3 things: 1) Guild special for Talthar, Guild Themed for The White Wind - Needs 7 players, 6 counting towards Talthar and 1 more counting for the White Wind 2) Guild special for The White Wind, Guild Themed for Talthar - Needs 7 players, 6 counting towards The White Wind and 1 more counting for Talthar (issue Own cannot be on as an advisor) 3) Guild Themed for The White Wind, Guild Themed for Talthar - Needs 6 players, 1 counting towards The White Wind and 1 more counting for Talthar (issue Own cannot be on as an advisor) From a personal point of view Talthar doesn't need the extension in the same way the White Wind does but Owen was the instigator and I would rather have three months than no months so I feel Option 1 is where we will most likely land. If people with question marks can speak up and confirm who/what they are playing and which of the guilds (or both) they are in that will help shape the day, as in WTAF I play to fill a gap, make sure we have the right member numbers or if I can switch to crewing to make up numbers if needed. -------------------- Gordon Court

QUOTE Pete Walls: TBC - Guest - so counts for neither. If it makes a difference and means Guild Specials etc can happen I could play my psi-type? Is goodly, and could join the White Wind. But I'd have no chance to make ribbon props, and (being primary psi-bracket) be rubbish for the undead shenanigans. Otherwise, looking at the list, it's looking like I'll druid it. _ Pete |

I'll post this in the Talthar thread too:
Assuming I'm going with the Druid option. Most of my beneficial stuff is reliant upon you accepting my EP mark ally. Accepting my EP mark ally costs you 6 TBLP in casting damage. I've a couple of bits of EP healing which work on elves. > 4/4 bandage > Create healing potions (specifically 4pts) > Trolls Blood (as the potion, but not a potion) The first beneficial ability I use on you every 15 mins is at +33%, not stacking with any other increase. If we share a meal I grant active (can walk around) med, broken by fighting / getting angry, or otherwise at the refs discretion. If you already have active med you get +1 med rate. If I cast Neutrality to Plants or Neutrality to Animals, it includes my Marked Allies. Strength of the Crol grants +36/6 temp life (5 mins) Strength of the Humans grants determination (5 mins) Strength of the Trolls is the aforementioned Regen Elixir (1 hour) I get power per ally, so I (or the ref) need to know OOC if you don't accept. Ta _ Pete |

Sonny: Ray - Light Elf White Wizard - 2k - Neither (possible White Wind Recruit...but also this is Sonny...) Gordon et al - noting the WhatsApp and this post; I have found the latest Almanac and can see the White Wind now. Ray is eligible can join it, but it needs sign on etc, so IC if required for the numbers etc, all good, invite on the day etc etc etc |

Thank folks for a really fun, and challenging, day out.
The party were great to interact with. The monsters were aces. The event provided a large variety of challenges. It really seemed like everyone was on form, and we (somehow) just meshed really well as a party, despite our diversity. It was really lovely to see people I haven't talked to for many years, and to meet others for the first time too! Thanks everyone. _ Pete |

Thanks to Rich, Laura, Ed and Stevie's fly by for a really fun day.
We were running on fumes by the end and upon reflection trying to take on the demon lord at the end may have just been a tiny step too far! O -------------------- Grisgriel, Standard Bearer of the Saintly Martial Order of Talthar
