See you later.
I'm not interested in being part of a society that accepts killing helpless children. I witnessed Emilio and Palewise do this yesterday. (and before we get started, the wyrmkin directly attacking weren't helpless!) Loki |

I was there.
It was horrid I was going to speak with Emilio about it directly but as this is all in the open, I’ll say my piece. I only saw Emilio strike one of the little children and not actually kill one. Abhorrent but not deadly The murdering that I witnessed was done by that disgusting Palewise creature. I certainly will not be frequenting his shops and would urge others to boycott him as well. Were the children being aggressive? Yes but in the same way that a frustrated, angry toddler could be aggressive. No attempt was made to find any other way of dealing with them and they were killed for the sins of their parents, the assumption that the parents being evil means that the children were not saveable. I expressed my frustration to Emilio at the time and whilst I have also been reconsidering my membership of the OOM and my position as a previously a staunch supporter of Emilio’s leadership, I have decided not to leave just yet. I have seen Emilio be supportive of a number of parties in which I have travelled and has saved many lives through his efforts. As such, I can’t condemn him utterly for that one, albeit horrible thing I’ve seen. Loki, I must say that your decision to free the croll in the way you did, having been warned that they would then attack each other was not wise albeit that i recognise the intent. I’ve done stupid stuff in the past but please listen to others in future. I would implore you Emilio, have more empathy in future, more faith that a young life can be saved by love and support rather than the sword. Oh, and your sandworms point is moot, they were actively trying to kill us and would have been successful if the party had not defended itself. Not the case for the Afthenal. Anyway, I wish to say no more on the subject other than the fact that I have faith that we can do better. Monty |
