Labyrinthe Forum _ Church of St. Michael _ Gather the Faithful

Posted by: Gordon May 22 2014, 04:51 PM

Brothers and Sisters of Faith and our benevolent allies,

The spiritual festival that is held in accordance with the honouring and celebration of Saladin’s Day is due to close this Sunsday within the Temple Fortress that was raised upon my Estates to provide a sanctuary for the faithful.

Over the past few months it has been a joy to see and hear a number of new proponents of the faith attend and raise praise and with their voices gather the blessings of our Lord and it would be good to see you together at such a time.

During the vigils stood by those deemed Knights of the Faith a vision has come to the young Shield maiden Thalia and my own guidance and experience stands this as an event of importance.

It would be my honour to host those of you whom would come to join in the celebrations and to help close the festival for the faithful and take this time to lend your guidance, strength and wisdom to Thalia.

Majin-Tan will make any and all needed arrangements for your accommodation either within the Temple, The Guest Wing of the Chateaux or the rooms at Kyra’s place as you would prefer for as long as you require.

My private chapel will be readied for you such that you may meet away from the throng of the local faithful to ensure their revelry does not inhibit your guidance.

I look forward to welcoming and seeing you all with Sight of our Lord’s eyes.

Amorphus.

My lords, fellows of the faith, Angels,

We should make preparations for the feast day!

And it feels right that we champion the faith once more: too long has Creator worship been eclipsed by noise and vigour from other pantheons.

As such I will miss your gathering. I wish you well. I shall be speaking on the streets of Halgar and calling others to our faith.

May the angels guide your steps.

I wish you all well and remember there is a box of funds at the cathedral to be used.

Max I would point out we are the Faithful of St Michael and not the creator.
The creator is a force of creation just like the Destoyer is a force of total destruction and not a god like Morgoth was.

Being a very recent member of this Church, I humbly offer my limited knowledge and skills to our sister and of course to
Saladin's day festivities.
I have read the words of Thalia herself and am startled to hear of such a vision. I believe a joining of fellow members
may be able to intensify the light, so to shine on the correct path in which we should proceed.

Although in troubling times we gather, I shall be honoured to meet you all in person and to be of service to St. Michael.

OOC: I beg to differ, "Ethos: Priests of Saint Michael follow the Creator of all things" (from the latest Almanac)

OOC

I do not want to derail this thread but i am refering to the Church of the Creator started by Stuart which has no connection or matching background to the original St Michael/Creator background. I know it was linked to St Michael by there guild powers but i really wish it wasn't.

St Michael is the War God of the Pantheon of Light and certainly does not see the Destroyer as a necessary evil:)

Lord Anarcus,

Why do you not see what they see, are you being drawn away from the church?

Has our faith and guidance been altered.

As I understand it that church of the creator is not the same church of the Creator from which our church drew its first priests, although they share a similar origin. As Anarchus says however, this is the church of Michael.

Oh and by the way, I'm alive again thank Michael (and perhaps the Phoenix, it was certainly involved in some way). I look forward to meeting people on Sunsday.

Gaxx,

I am heartened to hear you alive and returned to us so soon and that you are still held within the arms of our Lord.

Please feel to arrive as soon as you wish it would be good to talk with you.
