A three day bank holiday weekend coming up this weekend, with Saturday needing a ref and Sunday needing some crew

Saturday
Ancient Bloodlines Leadup 1 – The first lead up for the summer 2 party 3k being reffed by Lee, Tiffer and Ryan. It is currently full on players and has an a-ref and 2 monsters but could do with another monster.
Max 500 – An open, lower level dungeon that has 7 players booked, an a-ref and a monster but is missing the all important ref to make the dungeon happen. Is someone able to step in?
Earthsunder / The Swarm Joint Max 1500 Guild Special – Tony R reffs this joint day out for Rats and Dwarves but currently only 3 people booked on so will need a bit of support soon to run. Also needs an a-ref and a monster.
Young Players – Seamus taking the lead reffing this weeks young player event that has 8 people booked on. It still needs a 2nd ref as well as plenty of space for more players.

Sunday
Max 10k – An open dungeon being reffed by Heather. There a few at this level coming up over the next few months with different refs. Currently 10 players booked but no other crew so will need an a-ref and a couple of monsters.

Monday
Max 1500 2 party Overland – Ivan and Aodhan ref this 2 party overland at the Dormasland site, taking advantage of the bank holiday. Currently there are 19 players, 2 a-refs and 5 monsters. Another monster would be great but room on both sides. As with all overlands, this is a triple length and payment must be made in advance.


Further Ahead
Wednesday club is back next week, a max 1500 being reffed by Steve F. Currently 5 players booked but no crew, so will need an a-ref and least 1 monster to be able to run.

Max 10k – Unfortunately due to lack of crew has dropped to 1 player, so will be cancelled.
Max 1k – Laura has stepped in to ref this, has an a-ref and 2 monsters as well so is all good to go. Currently 10 players booked so room for a couple more.

Wednesday
A Max 1k Wednesday Club this week which has proved to be popular with 11 players booked. Is being reffed by Ben G who has an a-ref and 1 monster but could do with another monster or 2. As a reminder, Wednesday Club is now £21 and doesn’t include pizza any more.

Saturday
The Fire Still Burns Part 1 – The start of a 3 part Max 3k campaign being reffed by Lee, with 1 a month for the next few months. This one is full on players, has an a-ref and 4 monsters, so currently completely full.
New Player Intro Event – An event designed for new players and those who want to help them have a good day. Currently only 1 player and an a-ref booked, so not looking likely to run. Book on soon if you want to make this happen, or there is space for another dungeon today if a ref can be found.

Sunday
Max 10k – There are a few open 10k’s over the coming months and most are in need of a ref, this one currently has 9 players booked but no ref or other crew. If any is free to ref or monster it please book on.
Max 1k – A lower level open dungeon that has 11 players booked but also needs a ref. It does have 1 monster booked but needs an a-ref and ideally at least 1 monster.

Unfortunately the White Wind on Sunday is going to be cancelled as well now with people moving over to support the 10k.

Things looking a little better for the weekend but still some a-refs and monsters needed both days if anyone can help out.

Thursday
The no max triple length is happening today, is full on crew but space for more players if anyone suddenly finds themselves free today.

Saturday
Church of Knowledge Max 750 – At 8 players, Paul B reffing, has 1 monster but needs an a-ref.
Max 5250 – Chris G has stepped in to ref, has 6 players and an a-ref, needs 1 monster.
Knights of the Risen Pheonix Max 750 – Has 8 players, Ben G reffing, an a-ref and 1 monster, so is good to go.
Young Players – Lucy stepped in to ref with Seamus, up to 10 players so plenty of space for more.

Sunday
Max 10k – Aodhan moved over to ref this open dungeon, its at 7 players and one monster, needs an a-ref
White Wind Max 750 – With Laura switching monstering to ref, this will now be able to run. Will need an a-ref, as currently 5 players and 1 monster.
Church of the Destroyer Max 10k – This has been cancelled, with Aodhan stepping in to ref the open 10k
Max 3k – Down to 1 player and no crew, so will be cancelled.

Hi Laura, reffing the white wind would be good, hopefully with a ref booked some crew will join

No change on the ref front for the weekend, with still needing 1 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday if anyone can help out before dungeons have to start being cancelled later in the week?

We have a desperate shortage of refs and crew on Sunday with only 1 ref and 2 monsters across 4 dungeons, although no dungeon has more then 6 players so may need to be some co-ordination to make things run. Saturday also in need of 1 red and some crew.

Thursday
A mid week no max triple length being reffed by Miles with Owen on battleboard duty. Currently at 9 players, an a-ref and 3 monsters, so is all good to go but space still on both sides for anyone to join the fun.

Saturday

Max 5250 – Was full with a waiting list but the curse of no ref has struck and is down to 9 players. It does have an a-ref but still needing that all important ref role to make the day run, as well as a monster or 2.
Knights of the Risen Pheonix Max 750 – A guild special for another new guild, find the details about them on the forums or in the latest Almanac. It is being reffed by Ben G who has an a-ref and 1 monster helping given the 9 players a good day, Another monster would be good.
Young Players – We are looking for a 2nd ref to join Seamus reffing young players this week, currently 7 players booked on so room for plenty more.

Sunday
Church of the Destroyer Max 10k – Aodhan refs this church evil guild special, unfortunately it has no crew for the 6 players to destroy currently. It needs an a-ref and 1 monster if anyone can help out.
Max 3k – An open dungeon at this popular level, currently has 4 players booked but no crew, would need a ref and couple more people on both sides to be able to run
Max 10k – Unfortunately another dungeon in need of a ref and support crew to be able to run. This one has 5 players on
White Wind Max 750 – This also has 5 players and no ref but does have 2 monsters, so looking the most likely out of the ref-less dungeons to run currently.

Wednesday club is back next week, a max 1k being reffed by Ben G. Currently has 6 players and an a-ref, needs 1 monster to hit minimum numbers needed but hopefully more will join both sides before next week.


Rumours and Gossip
Edd is on holiday for the next week or so, leaving Duncan manning the shop, emails, Magic and Laby sides of the business on his own, so bare with him if there is a delay on any non-urgent work. This may include points apps being sent out Wednesday, as that’s normally Edd’s favourite job.

Over the next few weeks there are quite a few open dungeons needing refs, if you are free and able to ref something please take a look through the event diary and book on to ref. Having a ref booked in advance really does help dungeons fill up with players and crew, as well as stay filled up.

Mortai & Shaehan Max 5250 – Up to 7 players and good on crew with an a-ref and 2 monsters but space still on both sides.

Sunday
18th Legion and Iron & Empire Joint Max 3k Guild special – Up to 10 players, could really do with a 2nd monster to help out.
Max 1500 – At 9 players and an a-ref but needs a couple of monsters to make the dungeon run without players booking off to crew.
Max 500 – Looking good to go with 11 players and 3 monsters.

Mercenaries,

I represent the Wren’tallen clan of sea farers here in the Far North and we are after assistance. Our ships and costal towns have recently come under attack from a variety of sea monsters that all seemed to have appeared following a recent storm.
While we welcome the trade of beast hunters that have come to the area it is unfortunately beginning to effect our livelihood.

A change from tradition with this week’s Wednesday club being a max 500 and at the reduced cost of £21 as now doesn’t include pizza. Currently has the minimum needed to run with 6 players, myself reffing an a-ref and 1 monster. Could do with some more support on both sides though.

Thursday
Making the most of the Easter school holidays to fit in an open Max 5250 triple length with an Ishma theme. Is being reffed by Aodhan, has an a-ref and 1 monster. Currently at 8 players which is the minimum needed to run. Some more players and monsters would be good.

Saturday
Sellaville/Empress Goddess Max 30k – Full to bursting with 14 players and a waiting list, has Greenaway as the main ref aided by Sam R and Benson. Currently at 3 crew but space for more, especially with a full party.
Mortai & Shaehan Max 5250 – Owen refs this day out for these 2 linked goodly churches. It needs a bit more support as currently only 5 players and an a-ref, ideally needs at least 1 monster and 1 more player.

Sunday

Rescue Anarchus Part 3 – The third instalment of this series of 6 dungeons with Lee reffing and Owen on battleboard duty. The numbers have dropped slightly with only 9 players, 1 a-ref and 3 monsters, but still all good to go.
Max 5250 – The first of a few up coming open 5250’s over the next few months as people grab points for extended lengths. Alasdair reffing this one which is full on players, has an a-ref but needs a couple more monsters to join the 1 booked.
Young Players – The next Screaming Isles themed young player event being reffed by Seamus, so expect lots of pirates and sea beasts. Currently has 7 people booked so could do with a few more players, along with a second ref to join Seamus.

Sunday
New Player Intro Event – An event aimed at new club members and those wanting to help them have a good day. Designed for characters on their first or second event. Is being reffed by Gordon who has an a-ref and 3 monsters helping give the 7 players a good day.
Closed Max 20k – The next in a series of closed dungeons being organised by Pete S with people taking turns crewing. Aodhan is reffing this one with Andy B battleboarding. It has 8 players, an a-ref and 3 monsters so ok on numbers.
Max 3k – An open event with 3 players booked but needs all crew including a ref as well as some more players to be able to run.
Atheron Max 500 – Currently no players or crew booked so looking unlikely to run.


Further Ahead
Wednesday Club is on next week, and things are being mixed up a but over the next couple of months with no pizza included (although you still welcome to pop over Fireaway and bring it back to shop) and the thresholds being different. The up coming one is a max 500 and will be suitable for new characters.

Thursday next week there is a max 5250 Ishma themed triple length taking advantage of it being the school holidays. Is being reffed by Aodhan and currently has 9 players but could do with some monsters

Good Guy/Knight of the Land Max 3k – Edd H has stepped in to ref, still full on players and has an a-ref and 2 monsters
Max 750 – This has been cancelled.
There is a private booking in the caves as well.

Sunday
Max 1k – Full on players and over flowing on crew, so all good to go.

Adding a bump to this, players are talking about having to book off to crew which we are keen to avoid. If anyone can help out and crew please book on!

This fortnight’s Wednesday Club, a max evening 1500 single length. Ivan has kindly agreed to step in to ref, aided by Heather. It currently has 6 players and 2 monsters, so ok for numbers but space on both sides. As mentioned elsewhere, we are trialling for a few weeks no pizza afterwards which brings the cost down to £21 to see if increases numbers back up.

Saturday
Order of Mercenaries Max5250 Guild Special – The third and final part of the campaign being reffed by David F dealing with the current Grull issue. It has 8 players booked and 1 monster but really needs an a-ref and 1 monster to end the campaign with a bang.
Good Guy/Knight of the Land Max 3k – An open dungeon that is full on players themed to knights and goodly characters. Unfortunately the ref has had to book off due to moving house so is in desperate need of a replacement if anyone can help. Has an a-ref and 2 monsters.
Max 750 – An open lower level dungeon that currently only has 3 players booked so will need a lot of love to be able to run.
There is a private booking in the caves as well.

Sunday
Max 1k – Just 1 dungeon today, and its full on players but has a couple of crew spots free. Aodhan is reffing with Stevie as a-ref.

April isn’t too far away now and there are a couple of midweek dungeons up for booking:
