Rumours abound that a longstanding threat to Halgar has been dealt with by brave mercenaries.

An invading force of demons, a portal and a demon Lord all killed.

No one is quite sure who did it as none present were available for interview and our scrying can find no names but I have the inside scoop!

A tall humanoid said to be made of spiders and bugs, a well dressed troll with deadly blades, a small goblin weighed down with bags and weapons and a cackling skeletal undead.

Gossip suggests that having crushed the invading force, they set about dealing with other threats to our fair city.

First to return was the troll, covered in gore and blood, quickly followed by the bug man muttering something about kidney beans. Finally, the skeleton and goblin. The skeleton cackled, the goblin seemed unconscious or perhaps dead but was seen later up and well so we assume everything worked out well.

A dangerous threat resolved by these heroes.

Hear ye Hear Ye the real news of interest to the real people of Halgar!!

Hats are not enough!

A group of individuals entered a warehouse in southern Halgar several weeks past and released a plague of Demons!! At least two of the party wore the most impressive headgear seen since the last final dawn ball. The Demons slew a whole community of leatherworkers and other smelly traders who had set up their tanneries near to the warehouse. They were eventually driven off by a concerted effort organised by DORAC who acknowledged some sort of responsibility for this.

Later that day a wooden soldier, an undead fiend, a Rat (who talked incessantly, quietly and also about his new friends the undead), a Troll who apparently was a mighty chieftain (well he looked quite small and cuddly to this reporter and he looked like he had lost a few fights as well!!) were seen in the company of the King of Deci. Apparently it wasn’t their fault but nobody was going to talk to The King as he looked quite stern and annoyed!

Rumours where later heard that the newly formed city of Ghulston had a new guardian and it was a mighty black unicorn. Maybe the rest of the empire hasn’t recognised the city but with attractions like this it won’t be long!
