THE BIG DAY DOWN!, All the info so far... Options

Good evening,

I hope you're all as excited about the Big Day Down as we are! Every year this event becomes more and more of a success, and we are keen to get as much of a buzz as possible for this event.

Before I go into details, this is a great opportunity to help our club grow. We've all noticed the amount of call outs for crew that have been happening for recent events, and the best way for us to have more crew is to have more club members. So if there is one day of the year that you can give to helping the club, this is the day! If people try out our system and love it due to a well crewed taster session, they'll join the community, and we'll hopefully find more people willing to crew and play events in the future.

Without further ado, onto the details of the day!

This year's Big Day Down is on Sunday 11th December, and as usual is the day after Amlas Day and the Christmas Cavie Drinks.

**TRADERS**
We will have the big marquee set up as we have in previous years. I'll keep the list of traders updated as more confirm but wanted to get this post up at this early stage.

**TASTER SESSIONS**
We have 3 different referees running their taster sessions twice each.
Refs are Thom I, Ben G and Seamus M.
They need able crew to bring our system to life for people coming down to try the club.
Taster sessions will be roughly 1 hour, and you can turn up and crew any number of these. If you crew a taster session, you are welcome to play a different one too.
There is no charge to playing a taster session this year!
Sessions will run every hour starting at 11 and the last session running at 4.
It is possible for Young Players to try a taster session - Seamus' game is written for young players in mind.

So come down and do your Christmas Shopping, support the club we love, and work off your hangover from the annual drinks the day before! We will be sharing this on Facebook next week, so those of you who are happy to, please let your friends who want to give our hobby a go know!

If you'd like to volunteer to crew one or more taster sessions, please let me know on edd@labyrinthe.co.uk - no need to specify if you don't want to, just let me know so we can calculate numbers.
