So i'm looking for ways to encourage new members and to get more dungeons going.
A few I've had are: Change the entry restrictions to: Any first class or first race mana user may join. Second class, or those that gain mana from a multi-race/similar may join by completing a guild special. To claim the advance tier you have to complete a guild special. Does anyone else have any cool ideas? I'm also looking for ideas on how to make the chairs of colours work. I think that presently having one per colour is a bit extreme. I also would like to try and come up with ways to engage people. I was thinking of reducing the chairs to 9 and having an annual election. 3 chairs get elected and serve for 3 years. It would give a turnaround of players/characters that have positions in the guild, and mean people that want the jobs have to work for them. I think that sounds good. You could couple the elections with a magical themed forum & maybe Arcaanum professor appointments.
Maybe make the 2nd class restriction that you can only battle-board the basic tier until you've completed a guild special, just to make it a bit easier to join. Huw |

How about three chairs that are based by alignment, that are voted on. Each chair then has two deputies that assist but have no say unless in the absence of their chair.

Lee I think changing the entry restrictions to this won't do any harm and will hopefully mean we can with a guild special get a little boost to the benefits to bring them a little more inline with the newer guilds!! :-) I'm being dumb, what were the nine chairs? Blue, Brown, Green, Red, Black, White, Grey, Sorcery? Silver? I also really liked the idea of the lesser chairs, I think its cool and doesn't take much effort! Just initial ideas, I will have a think? :-) |

There is (in theory) currently one chair per colour, and I think that's too many really.
A chair and deputies could work out. I'll have a think on it. Lee -------------------- Please send points apps to: pointsapp@labyrinthe.co.uk
