why be a Grey Knight?
Probably gets disqualified for being tedious Mr Flanagan, and basically isn't very interesting - plus your stuffed on innates if you go honours blade and
you can't standardly go 2nd colour sorcerer

Psi-master shadow demon is better - work on that and show us the spend.

Going for Alfar brown wizard m/classed Scout m/raced elder fae. Lots of potential for different things to do in there.
Or maybe Spirit Warrior / Priest of the Runes / Warrior.

Ethos on this character being a sneaky backstabbing murderer, plenty of emphasis on hiding and staying hidden, and striking when the times right, theres LOTS of stuff ive not included that would enhance this even more, Greater Surpise Blows, more sneaky Tables abilities etc.

I kinda went on the emphasis that this character would be all about timing his attacks and picking his fights, with a certain amount of defensiveness lobbed in should he get caught off guard etc.

A Ghoul will still kill him though smile.gif

Ethos/RP about being a flesh golem type thing, picks up limbs/locations of other people 1/2spirit keeps immunities down, being an orc gives see through darkness, a few darknesses a couple of stealths etc

Ethos, a Tribal Healer / Fighter, everyone in the tribe has to learn to Fight, or you die in the cold tundra of the frozen north. Generally he hangs around protecting the other healers, kinda like the 2ndline Warrior, he'll smash your face in if you attack him but likewise he'll heal you up if your badly bruised, while not as proficient a healer as a dedicated priest or as sturdy a warrior as a dedicated warrior, he's a half decent makeshift between the two.

Saves loads of points on immunities by going undead. Doesnt need healing as an undead warrior due to regen. Can afford to have determination due to regen,Another option was to have 2 war crys instead of determination and MC L6 Berserker and get mystic rages....

Its a MC slot per 1000 points starting from 450. So its 3 MC slots.

It is actually possible to do the rogue one with 3 slots by droppping pathfinder and buying up levels of make general .... Just a bit painful!

ok - turns out it is better without L6 pathfinder

I do lose a jump and a chameleon but I gain 7 mana and 30 points to play with.....

I am 99% sure that if you have half a spirit you are paying x2 cost for all priestly abilities.

Multi-class warrior priest first and buy all spiritual abilities before losing half your spirit. However you would then lose 1/2 of your spirits.

You can second colour, but only to bronze.

Doesn't strike me as much of a spend TBH - you're a warrior subclass who spends a lot of points to get 42 mana (80-ish when you buy up the levels), but looses the ability to wear metal armour or carry a sword. I can't, off the top of my head, remember the rules for making innates 'mantic, but I am fairly certain you have to buy them up the tree to do so, same as priests. So to make it work you are going to need more than 3k points.

I like the concept but the spend is flawed - mainly its a metal allowance issue over swords /arrows etc no immunities or resistances at all is very risky as a warrior type - 1/2spirit will get you somewhere but not everywhere.

Quin with a bow isn't probably worth the agro - at 3k its got to be more than the assassins/ warrior so your looking at 9/10

Ok... My turn (and is vague since my books are at home...) And I chose Ranger to annoy David.

Some barkskins for some ninja 2 point damage reductions (and when innate pac is useful)
Some trips/slow poisons since they are good for the points
Wanderers Hunch, cos, well... duh.
and 1/2 Black and red, to go in combo with 25% off pure mantic, and 1/2 spirit.

All the character needs is a s/n weapon and hes away! Most 'interesting charactyers' involve some sort of multiple powerbases, but i think, as far as a bracket pure character goes, this is quite interesting.

Be Half Ivory Drave Warrior take 6 levels of wizard Multi race full elf for 72 / 24 life,
spend on specialism 2016pts on innates which is 8 hours I believe and get no damage casting 1-8 spells...

Be in KoTL for Quad and Max AC increases and off you go...

I reckon I am now 4k though :s

Power warrior gone second colour ivory.

This means you can buy extra innates of ivory warrior for 40pts and specialisation reduces this to 20 [or at least this was how it was in the green post 8th book, not sure if it's changed.]
