Starting to write a YP for LG kensai and looking for ideas from more experienced players. Looking at MCing Spirit Warrior.
One line to start is Parry Versatility

Lee prefers multi classes so work out what kinda character you want to be and build it around a multi class.

For example Duncan is a chef thus very good with knives....

Putting in a YP for standard Spirit Warrior MC so have space for a few one line abilities. Promise I'm not going to go overboard and attempt to join to Power Player group 😜

mighty strikes apply vs each new target... probably would need to be from zero prep time (cant remember the ability that reduces prep time... something like poised and ready maybe)

maybe some more ki strikes?... even if you plan to go master at arms... you can use the innates for something else later(cut down range fx's maybe)

write a non standard tradition about getting either mighty strikes or something else earlier?

just a few ideas.

Grant.

B class I take it?

Distance the wyrd: From enhanced distancing, 1/2 effect from touch effects delivered by an unarmed strike if your weapon has the same powerbase component as the effect.

Roomsweeper: 1/day knockback at will for 10 seconds, to a maximum of once per target

Immortal blade: You can spend innates of Ki Strike in a similar way to a war cry to ignore and be immune for 5 minutes any effect that would do anything to your sword or any component of your sword (so could be used to prevent a fireblade from being dispelled or similar).

I had ki strikes can do through PAC instead of supernatural, regen a ki strike 1 per hour, forearm parry applies vs. pure weapon blow while you have a normal 5 min ki strike active, ki strikes now do a specific colour of magic / elemental damage type

As mentioned above though it was a MC though and quite old. It was pretty cheap though

Other 1 liners:

Ki shout (as samurai) granting +1 max +1 base damage with a loud shout and proper swing - 1 per combat, max 1 per 5 mins.

Reposte - if you are struck by a non-damaging physical skill attack (disarm, knockback / down etc.) you may immediately respond with that attack without using / owning the innate

Batter - after hitting an opponent at least 10 times, gains +2 damage grades / max damage until they die. May not leave combat once initiated against that foe

Leap attack - gains +1 damage / +1 max on the first blow immediately after a salmon leap (or a knockdown / back?)

Glory in death - gains +1 max damage / +1 base for the remainder of the day if you die (actually lose res chance not a fudge death) and are restored, stacks with itself (so 3 deaths = +3...)

Joy of life - gain 3/1 base life for each 10% vitae lost which increases your class base life. May not have any increase in base life over basic kensai starting life in anyway

The new one armed swordsman - may continue to use all weapon abilities requiring 2 hands if I lose an arm for any reason (broken, voided, chopped off etc) due to frail weak limbs and constantly having to work with one of them broken or destroyed (epic movie...)

Cheers

David
