hi all

i have been looking at wyrm kin and their class restrictions but i would like to be able to do an unholy champion

could i please have some ideas on how to do this

thanks
BennyB
I'd approach this the other way and change from a human to a wyrm kin and I'd probably try and do it in two steps.

(Colour) Wyrm Kin throw back I
From human anti-paladin now has all the restrictions (bar alignment) of a wyrm kin:
1) Must have draconic/scale like makeup. The colour should be appropriate to their colour
5) Must pay double cost for all armour as it must be specifically made for them.
6) Intermediate and advance guild tiers count as being 1 table higher (EG 4 for intermediated and 9 for advance) and cost 75pts for intermediate and 100pts for advanced.
7) They are not from Primus, their home plane is Legend, should this be relevant ever.

From (Colour) Wyrm Kin throw back I
(Colour) Wyrm Kin throw back II
May now purchase half elven innates as per wyrm kin

Looking at the above I'd probably think about changing the guild rule to cannot benefit from guilds beyond the immediate tier or maybe even cannot join guilds but may be a hanger on to an appropriate church.

ok this see but i am getting confused with the throw back thing but i am not exactly agreeing with the guild thing i just wanted it to be basicly be a AP but instead of human wyrmkin its just i think it would be possible since wyrmkin are in all ways human apart from the obvious restrictions so i thought it would be rather reasonable to go for that class

Wyrm kin weren't always just goodly (as per the description of them) which is why I put in the throw back thing.

The description of them specifically states that they are all goodly, you're trying to create one that is evil. For right or wrong an alignment restriction is a restriction as is the restriction that the wyrm kin can only be certain classes (of which unholy champion isn't one).

So in return for removing those restrictions you'll need to add some others*. I was suggesting that removing the ability to join guilds made sense as a new restriction as it's an extension of the existing restriction, easily understood and a real restriction**.

You might find that the gsm simply decided that the cost of the change is enough.

Ben

* You might not need to, and if the gsm decided that the guild restriction wasn't necessary he would probably just remove it. You are paying points for the ability to do something different as well as for the "power" of the thing that you're buying.

** A restriction that is never going to affect you or is nonsensical is not a real restriction, something like "May never multi-class" is a real and harsh restriction, "May never multi-class to archer" is unlikely to be a real restriction as the gsm is likely to assume that you were never going to go archer anyway.

yeah i get that though in the larp rules it doesn't say that you have to be goodly it says that you may be goodly

so i really don't think that adding on new ones is necessary along with AP have a lot of restrictions anyway

The only real 'restriction' that an AP has is being outlawed and that can be made to go away for 50 points (if you're LE). You get a pure priest's spirit total of innates, can wear plate, carry a shield and batter things. Oh and you may be able to make BV6 as well smile.gif

They are hard as nails which is why they are not available as standard for some races.

just m/r to wyrmkin.

You can m/r on T1 and can buy m/c whilst going through a m/r so if you are desperate then just write a m/r but only write L1 and say you will write the rest later OR actually write the first 6 levels but put minimal in L1 BUT call the m/r blah blah wyrmkin. Then you get to be one immediately!! If you put nothing in L1 you could probably buy it for 10 pts!!

You can't multirace on table one except to standard published multiraces. You can wear a cool dragon prosthetic without multiracing, however.

(the wyrm kin from Legend are all goodly, surely?)

I can't remember exactly what the final rules were but I know for certain they can only be goodly priests.

Atli being a Wyrm-kin unholy champion basically means you should be a worshipper of the sins, and effectively get yourself killed really quickly.
If you want to play a "part-dragon/part human anti-paladin" then using wyrm-kin is base is fine, and just trade off something for not-being from legend.

ok thank you sonof but how would that work would i make it like i call myself half dragon and i was born like this in the same manner as the half dragons in D&D
