And do you really think it'll be too creative as an evil priest?
It would just be full of:
'and then I killed it with cause grevious'
or
'I Used touch of death on the skeletal knight dealing quin. Unbalanced much...
Callum

Yeah, umm sorry about that guys...

I just found it a bit unfair that i'd have to write in it three times in a row...

And when everyone's excuse was, i quote: "I can't write..." DUHUH i went into internal rage tongue.gif

If this was D&D like, our whole party would be screwed, because everyones intelligence would be like 2...

But i understood that felix couldn't do it, but yeah...

Rant over...

Andrew

PS: thinking of happy fluffy bunnys now... smile.gif
Padallen
So what would motivate you to write up stuff in the book!?!?!? smile.gif
Spud
For the system to say that all characters can read and write? xD

I genuinely have no idea...

Andrew

darkrule233
Maybe just a couple of more grulls,?

Guys,
To be honest I'm not sure I want to incentivise writing in the campaign book.
The incentive should be taking part in a year long campaign and having referee's that are currently trying to treat the player base as young people in training for adults rather than as children. Most of you are pretty bright and writing in a book isn't that much of a labour to do now and again. It shouldn't fall to one person to keep getting stuck with it in the same way as monstering needs to be shared around (we have 0 booked for Sunday by the way).

In a year+ campaign you will need to keep records and notes or you will lose important information and your characters will probably suffer as a consequence (if you have recurring greeblies and situations its always good to remember how you dealt with/killed it last time, before it kills you, again!)

As an aside, writing in the book in no way has to be a complete blow by blow account of every encounter.
A brief description of what you did, why you did it and any things you think you might need to remember (such as places/names) and how you dealt with a couple of unusual situations should be sufficient. It could even be written up at the end of the day but you may need a better memory than some of you seem to have.

Two sides of the book should be more than sufficient for most games and more often just a single side should suffice.

I'd happily write in the book this time,
But as Tim says, it shouldn't land on just one person.
We all need to be included in this.

Mhm, Glad the refs agree smile.gif

And of course Callum, lol

Thanks

We need to advertise YP's down the caves,
I don't think YP's know that it's going weekly. Or that it's on a sunday...
Callum
TimDallen
Callum,
I'm meeting with Duncan next week to discuss YP's.
This is already on my (and I suspect Duncan's) agenda to address.

Ta,
Tim

I would write, a bunch of Young adventurers very keen on killing things one by one?

key points from my view was;
the brave three that stayed behind (after the monsters killed most on them 'one by one')
Drinking poison and wine
one chap being very scared of rocks
A goodly warrior wanting to kill the defenceless orc begging for his life
Killing lots of orcs for some unknown reason
Spud
Heh, i think that is like, the most acurate description ive ever seen...

Good job laura. xD

Andrew
darkrule233
So, are you monstering all day Andrew?
Callum
Spud
I dunno if i'm allowed to.

But i will if i'm allowed, why?

Andrew
darkrule233

Callum
TimDallen
Hiya,
I've spoken to Jo and you are allowed to monster all day on this occasion.
She's booked you on but you'll need to phone the booking line to get your friend added if he/she still wants to join us.
Monstering all day isn't normally an option but this Sunday they're making an exception.

Sorry if I overstepped the mark booking you on but was trying to help.
Can you phone the booking line to comfirm and let me know on this thread.

Ta,
Tim
