Howdy peeps,
So, I've ended up playing a self styled ritualist, but so far just from the various rituals that happen to fall my way from the dungeons I've played. I'm looking to expand into some actual abilities now and was wondering how other people have gone about this in the past. Cheers, Pete long |

Several ways to do it but let me know how you're starting and I'll let you know some ideas |

I'm a comms based wayfinder. Pete Ah that one. How about a ritualistic multi class, that gives you say 10 ISP per level, which goes into a power pool. You can only use these with ritual prep and props, taking 10 seconds per item point. You can ritually create an 'effect' that happens upon completion of the ritual. So you could ritually create a supernatural weapon, or ritually cast a random spell/miracle. 1/2 levels. You can use your ritual power to bind that effect into an item to be used later. Maybe throw in some knowledge of the arcane to pad the class out. Lose your pathing slot. Write in a med ability (or you regain ISP power by gathering objects, revising/medding etc Throw in some random ritual innate abilities. |

On the interacting with existing rituals side -
I had enhanced evaluate @ will on rituals and things they are affecting and danger sense related to performing / interacting with rituals as post scholar things. I got an enormous amount of value out of the enhanced evaluate, both in terms of 'what does it do?'/'how do you disarm it' and getting background info based on how it was done / what sort of powers were used - the latter often being non-system details that refs are dying to explain or clues they want to get out there. Some sort of scholarly interest innates are probably good Julian -------------------- Embrace your inner munchkin

As well as what carlo said, how about something similar to a draw on ep innate, but all basic spells/miracles?
