So the time is upon us again and the Final Dawn nears. As a lot of people have seen the plots (yes more than one) are already out there and have been for quite a while.
There will, over the next couple of months, undoubtedly, be more info coming out from dungeons, not least the 3 direct Final Dawn lead ups (called the Greyish Pre-Dawn).
We have a few ideas for things we planning to do that will hopefully make the event a bit different from normal and create some cool memories for people involved.
However to make it happen we clearly need some monsters (and players). As with all final dawns there are specific booking rules and the like, so here you go:

~ Who’s reffing? ~
Master ref: Lee Dale
Section refs:
Lows: Jack Cotter
Mids: Matt Jenkins
Highs: Grant
Ultras: Duncan
Young Players: Tim Dallen

~ Dates, times and length ~
Saturday the 27th December to Monday 29th December.
The dungeons will be triple lengths for the purposes of points, and there will be a semi-Forum on the Saturday evening. (for some light roleplay and comming, and also some plot NPC’s to meet)
The aim will be to have time in for the Adult party at 10.30 on the first day, with young players aiming for 11.00. Adults will run till 7/7.30ish and then the forum will last till 9/9.30 or so. Young players will end at 6/6.30 or so
The second day we’d like to get started as early as we can, and since we don’t have to re-check battle-boards and points apps the aim is time in at 10am. With time out being something like 7pm.
Final day again we’d like to get started early (10ish) with time out being about 6 o’clock (clearly later by the time everyone has messed up the lovely plot).

~ Levels ~
The intention is to have four Adult parties on each day, and one Young player party on the 27th.
The rough level split is:
Lows – 0-2k
Mids – 2k-4.5k or so
Highs 4.5k-7.5k or so
Ultras – 7.5k plus

Clearly this will get reviewed closer to the time (early December) and we’ll update it if needed.

~ Booking on ~
The rules for young players will be as other weekend young player bookings, note the price change for this event however. Although due to extra time in on a theme-day, there will be 50 points max available per section.

For Adults there are two ways to book to play. Both styles can be made via e-mail, or via a form at the desk.

With a Monster (A-team): When you hand in your booking form/e-mail you get a Monster to hand in a booking form/e-mail at the same time. This secures your place and you are booked on. Your deposit will also then be due.

Without a Monster (B-team): Hand in your booking form/e-mail and you will join the waiting list to be booked on. Each time a monster books on with a player one person from the waiting list is booked on (clearly starting at the top). If someone books to monster without a specific player then two people from the list are booked on. Once you move from B-team to A-team your deposit will be due within 14 days.

In an effort to save time in the mornings, and help reduce waiting times for important things like monster points, and dice rolling, payment in full should be made by the end of the 21st December, this includes, young players

~ Costs ~
The Adult cost will be £70 per day, with a minimum cash payment of £25.
A reduced price is available if booking for all three days of £180, with a minimum cash payment of £50

Young players will cost £25 per section.

To save confusion and to clarify. If you are booking at the desk for the themeday, there will be a form available at the desk, this is to create a paper trail for when I cash up to make sure no-ones booking is missed.

If you are booking via e-mail, you don't need a form, just an e-mail is sufficient. Please copy in and get your monster to respond via e-mail as well. This will save me a job and time,

Thanks

Duncan

As an update for the above event.

Anyone who has asked for a space on this event has got one. You can check you are booked on via the website.

Additionally there are a couple of places available on a first come first served basis.

Should more monsters book these player spaces will increase.

As a reminder deposits are due now, with final payment due by 21st December. These payments can be made at the desk, by BACs or via the website

Thank you
