Hey all,
In case you've missed the thread, there's a 25th Anniversary of Labyrinthe charity event coming up on the 26th/27th February. There's a bunch of YP dungeons running, and you can play/monster them as you wish - here's the listing: Sunday 27th February 10:00 Young players 11:00 - 12:00 Young players 13:00 - 14:00 Young players 15:00 - 16:00 Young players 17:00 - For more info see the 25th Anniversary Event Forum. Obviously there will also be adult dungeons running on the Saturday and Sunday, but I'd personally just like to ask any other freshly moved up YP's to try and play/monster at least one or two YP events. Much thanks, Joss |

ive been done !!!! how come i get the two spot lol Jay To be fair I'm currently writing 3 hour long dungeons and the slot hasn't been confirmed as a 2hour it might be worth checking with jo. Ps. I don't need to know what people are playing for the first 3 but it would be smart for you guys to sort out a fairly balanced group. (clues over) |

The first three are being reffed by myself and Dale. The 4th (the 4pm slot) is being reffed by Jason, and as far as I'm aware ALL young player dungeons on that day are one hour long and it is the adult dungeon at 4pm that's two hours.
Just to let you know all 4 adventures are stand alone, not linked, and rewards/items will be spread evenly. This means guys that you should feel free to monster or play whichever ones you want regardless of the time of day, please don't do your usual thing of monstering all morning and playing at the end of the day hoping that's where the best items are cos it won't be the case!! |

Given Craig brought it up, I should stress referees of YP's rarely set more isp in one section than the other (if at all). Its also a lot harder to make a good day for all involved if people assume this and just want to play in the afternoons. (This isnt directed at anyone in particular and Im sure many of you have good reasons for just turning up for the afternoon. That myth that the last boss has the best loot is pet peeve of mine.)

and to add im real old school!!!!!
so as Peter and Craig have said dont expect the boss to have the loot, this is gonna be fun and real no "MMO" style of play in young players this year. hope you guys are ready ans up for a great day, and an even better year in young players.. jay -------------------- Jay

In fact I think the best item I've set so far was picked up by a party member about 15 minutes into time in on bank holiday Monday in early January. Was encounter two or three I think.

Can you play two different characters on the day?
I am hoping to play my wizard and start up a neutral lawful priest with a bit of healing? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Many thanks Charlie Bucknell -------------------- CB

Each adventure is totally stand alone, the three I'm writing have no connection to each other so you can play what you like.

You can play one of your existing characters or start a new one at 8th +75. if you are old enough to do the senior ref challenge with the adults and have a lucky dip character you can use it AFTER it has survived the challenge.

Assuming you survive!!
Just as a semi-related note, spiritual restore to life will be available on the day via The Brass Company but they won't be cheap so don't rely on them. As usual, restore to life is for goodly or neutral characters only, does not work on spiritless creatures and requires a body. If your character is dead then I expect you to role-play appropriately; talking or walking corpses will be assumed to be undead and will be smitten on sight by our Elbrethian NPC's. |
